Rashida Jones & Her Siblings - Quincy Jones Was a Different Dad to Each of His Kids
Rashida Jones is the daughter of legendary musician Quincy Jones and is one of his seven children. Quincy has been married three times but had kids with five different women. Rashida is the second youngest child of her father's children.
Still, she is arguably the most popular among the children, as she has been part of more significant projects than her siblings. However, several of her siblings have significantly impacted their areas of expertise. For example, Kidada Jones has made a name for herself as a fashion designer.
Quincy Jones III developed his craft as a music and movie producer. Quincy's youngest, Kenya, became a fashion model and appeared on the runway for some of the world's top fashion houses. Little is known about the other three siblings as they love non-celebrity lives.
Rashida Jones Is One of Quincy Jones' 7 Children
Rashida Jones is the youngest daughter of Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton. She was born in Los Angeles, California, on February 25, 1976. Rashida grew up in the riches of Bel Air, but she still conceded that it was hard for their family back then as there was still some negative outlook on her parents' mixed marriage.
Nevertheless, Rashida credits her founding her voice to her parents who instilled self-confidence in her. She acknowledges that, unlike her older siblings, she managed to get the best of her father because she got to spend a lot of time with him at home when she was growing up. She explained that:
“My dad was a different parent to each one of them. I think my older sister would say he was never around. I have siblings who grew up in Sweden, when my dad and their mom got divorced, and they came to live with us eventually, but my dad was around a lot for me.”

Kidada Dated Tupac Shakur
Quincy Jones and Peggy Lipton had two children together. Rashida Jones and Kidada Jones. Kidada is the oldest of their two daughters, born on March 22, 1974. Like her younger sibling, she was also born and raised in Los Angeles, California, under Reformed Jewish traditions.
She had a troubled childhood where she had difficulties fitting in, which resulted in her being kicked out of eleven schools by the time she reached 15. However, things improved after she began working with renowned designer Tommy Hilfiger when she was 19.
Although she has been involved in other industries, such as acting, her most immense contribution has been to the fashion industry. She has modeled for the likes of Elle and Vogue and has styled A-listers such as Michael Jackson. She had been dating Tupac Shakur for several months before his passing.

Kenya Became a Successful Model
Kenya Julia Niambi Sarah Jones is the youngest child of Quincy Jones. She was born on February 9, 1993, in Los Angeles. Her mother is Nastassja Kinski, a German actress, and model. Along with the six paternal half-siblings, Kenya has two more half-siblings, including Sonja Kinski from her mother's side.
Kenya reportedly obtained a bachelor of arts degree in Journalism from Loyola Marymount University in 2015. However, she hasn't had to use the degree as she has spent most of her time walking down the runway for some of the world's biggest fashion houses, including Chanel, where she made her debut.
Kenya was discovered by Bruce Weber, who had been working as a photographer for her mother. He encouraged her to follow in her mother's footsteps by becoming a professional model. She has been signed under various agencies such as The Lions and Ford Models, Paris, and has appeared in several fashion magazines.

Quincy Jones III Followed in His Father's Footsteps
Quincy Delight Jones III is the only son of Quincy Jones. He was born on December 23, 1968, to a Swedish mother, Ulla Andersson, and was raised in Stockholm, Sweden. Quincy Delight has followed in his father's footsteps and is seen as his heir apparent.
He developed a passion for hip-hop at a very young age and showed it by participating in break-dancing tours. At 13, Quincy was introduced to the world of music production after receiving his first drum machine. Three years later, he moved to New York to pursue his passion for becoming a music producer.
Surprisingly, even though his father was a big-time music producer, Quincy III still had to put in the hard yards to make it in the industry. He attended Berklee College of Music to understand better how to use studio technology. He has gone on to work with many renowned artists, including Dr. Dre and Ice Cube.
