Escalating taunts from cruel playground bullies forced her into home-schooling. A Toronto photographer and journalist, Shannon Boodram, is credited with discovering the model when she was 16 after making a video about her condition.

Boodram encouraged the teen to seriously pursue modeling, who had been more interested in entertainment reporting. In her youth, she did nails at her hairdresser mother's salon.

After a lot of hard work, a memorable stint on "America's Next Top Model," and 10.2 million Instagram followers, Harlow is deemed one of the most recognizable faces in fashion by Vogue magazine.

In 2019 she posed for the Sport Illustrated: Swimsuit Edition in a pictorial titled "Grand Exuma, Bahamas." Beyoncé handpicked her to be in her "All Night" visual on "Lemonade" and is a judge in season two of Amazon's "Making the Cut."

The animal lover is highly allergic to cats and once had to work opposite felines on a shoot. Ever the professional, she took allergy medication and had cat food in her mouth to draw a cat closer.

In a TV interview, Harlow revealed that Kuzma tried to spark a conversation with her over Instagram in 2019; however, she missed the message. Luckily his second attempt during the early months of the 2020 quarantine caught her interest.

After a month of Facetiming daily, the sportsman invited her to Los Angeles, and at the time of the interview, a year later, she was still in the city. The model revealed the moment she realized the relationship was getting serious was during her extensive nighttime regime:
