How Did Kirstie Alley Enjoy Being a Mom and Grandma?
Kirstie enjoyed being a mother more than anything else in the world. After she had a miscarriage and the doctors told her she might never have children, she decided to adopt a child with her then-husband, Parker Stevenson.
The couple adopted their son, True, in 1992 and expanded their family in 1994 when they adopted their daughter, Lillie. Unfortunately, Kirstie and Parker decided things wouldn't work out between them and separated in 1995.
Kirstie loved raising Lillie and True, and although she and Parker were separated, both had custody of the kids. In 2016, Kirstie had the chance to fuss over another baby when True and his wife had their first kid. Kirstie opened up about her love of children:
"My best quality is that I'm a good mother."
Lillie and her husband soon allowed Kirstie to indulge in baby fever once more when they had their first child in 2021. Kirsty was ecstatic about being a grandmother, and she made as good a grandmother as she did a mother.
