Dino Guilmette's Life before & after He Became Shayanna Jenkins' Boyfriend
Amateur boxer Dino Guilmette is the boyfriend of Shayanna Jenkins, the former fiancée of convicted football star Aaron Hernandez who died in prison in 2017.
Once upon a time, Shayanna Jenkins' life was close to a fairytale, She was engaged to her childhood sweetheart, NFA player Aaron Hernandez, and they went on to share a little daughter, Avielle. Then, her life fell apart when their baby was one year old.
Hernandez was on trial for murder and convicted. In 2017, he died in prison, and Jenkins was left alone. But comfort and love came into her life again. The man who brought hope and happiness back into Shayanna Jenkins' life is her boyfriend, boxer, model, and businessman Dino Guilmette.

Thirteen months after Hernandez's death, Jenkins revealed that she was pregnant and that the father of her child was Dino Guilmette. Guilmette, a bar-owning businessman, was born in 1978 and played football at the University of Florida.
Despite the controversies surrounding her, he has stood by Jenkins, including rumors that her second child was Hernandez's and not Guilmette's; and accusations that she was mismanaging her daughter Avielle Hernandez's trust fund.
The fund has paid out $150,000 a year for Avielle's living and educational expenses, but the other trustees question expenditures to the tune of $17,000 in clothes, $10,000 in dance lessons, and other expenses which they believe to be excessive for a 10-year-old.
Dino Guilmette Has a Business Degree
Dino Guilmette graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2000, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). He is one of several siblings, all married and with their own families.
Guilmette may face even more serious accusations in the future - a police investigation has uncovered evidence allegedly linking Guilmette to a Mob drug ring.
He is the only unmarried one, and his family is excited to see him settle down with Jenkins and raise Avielle and their new baby, Giselle. Besides his business, Guilmette is also a talented amateur boxer who has worked as a model and done some acting in film and theater.
Dino Has Been Self-Employed for over 20 Years
Guilmette has been a self-employed Rhode Island bar owner since 1997 and has filed for bankruptcy twice: in 2005 and 2014. Some of his opponents in the ring describe him as a bully, and he is known as a "tough guy" in his hometown.
Despite his financial difficulties, Guilmette seems to have his life together, and his Instagram posts indicate that he lives a pleasant lifestyle with Jenkins, Avielle, and Giselle.
Dino Guilmette and Shayanna Jenkins' Relationship
Guilmette met Jenkins through mutual friends, and they were immediately attracted to each other. Curiously, Guilmette had played football with Hernandez at the University of Florida. They were expecting a baby, little Giselle, just months after they met. Guilmette said:
"I'm going to have my hands full but I'm happy about it. I'm excited. It's my daughter. She will have two sisters. I have another daughter from a previous relationship, and then there's Shayanna's daughter with Aaron."
Their child was born on June 15, 2018, but she is not Guilmette's first daughter. He has a grown-up daughter from a previous relationship who graduated from college. Guilmette is a proud dad, and he often shares snaps of Giselle, Alvielle, and his oldest child on Instagram.
Guilmette has been in trouble with the police since he was young. He was arrested at the age of 18 for felony assault with a dangerous weapon, and in 2005, he was again facing charges of assault and resisting arrest.
Dino Guilmette Is under the Watchful Eye of the Police
While the assault charges are in his past, it seems as if Guilmette may face even more serious accusations in the future - a police investigation has uncovered evidence allegedly linking Guilmette to a Mob drug ring.
Documents were filed in August 2022 by Rhode Island Attorney General's office with the Superior Court detailing Guilmette's suspicious activities and involvement in what is believed to be a large-scale cocaine smuggling and distribution operation. Guilmette may face serious charges and, if convicted, many years in prison.
