Seth Curry's Relationship with Wife Callie Rivers: Inside Their Family

Callie Rivers is Seth Curry's wife, and the two share something in common: their love for sports. While Callie's husband is a celebrated NBA player, she has also made a name for herself in the sports industry.

Seth and Callie both come from famous NBA families. Seth is the son of former NBA player Dell Curry and the younger brother of Stephen Curry, who plays for the Golden State Warriors.

On the other hand, Callie is the daughter of Doc Rivers, a retired NBA player and current head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers. The two families developed a strong bond after Seth and Callie's marriage brought them together. So what does Callie and Seth's relationship look like? Here's what we know.

Callie Rivers Is Not a Stranger to Sports

Even though NBA stars surround Seth Curry's wife from both sides of her family, Callie is also a talented athlete, something she inherited from her famous father. Though now retired, Callie played volleyball in high school and was recognized for her gifted skills.

After resuming on campus, Callie proceeded with her passion for volleyball and played for the University of Florida Gators from 2007 to 2010.

As a first-year student, Callie began with her first 19 matches, and due to her exemplary performance, she set multiple school records, which earned her a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team.

Although she finished up her campus volleyball career as an All-American Honorable Mention, she turned her passion for the sport into a professional career. After graduating from college, Callie signed a contract with Leonas de Ponce, a professional female volleyball team in Puerto Rico.

Callie played with the club for a year before deciding to go into early retirement. While she may have disappeared from the volleyball pitch, she is active on social media, with a massive following on most of her platforms.

The couple also decided to do a room makeover for their eldest child, Carter; they wanted her to feel excited and not left out.

Even though it's unclear exactly when Callie and Seth met and began their romantic life, they may have gotten acquainted many years ago since both their fathers were longtime NBA stars. Also, Callie's dad has been Seth's coach for a while.

The Couple Has Grown into a Family of Four

Callie and Seth have one big happy family. The couple tied the knot in 2019, and as per Callie's Instagram posts, the two seem to enjoy married life.

Before the lovebirds welcomed their second child, Callie announced via her Instagram that she was expecting baby number two. She shared a picture, edited in black and white, wearing a black dress that revealed her baby bump. But she didn't give details about the baby's gender or due date.

The couple, parents to a four-year-old daughter and one-year-old son, celebrated their 3rd wedding anniversary on September 14, 2022. When the couple's eldest child Carter Lynn Curry turned three in 2021, Callie shared a cute photo of their daughter on Instagram and a sweet message wishing her a happy birthday. She captioned:

"My beautiful daughter. an unexplainable love that somehow continues to grow each day. Cannot believe she's already 3 the busiest, bossiest, funniest with the biggest personality you'll ever meet (sic)."

Besides having a special bond with her kids, Seth Curry's wife is also close to her father. Even though she is Doc Rivers' only daughter, she has three brothers: Jeremiah, Austin, and Spencer.

They Shared the Story behind the Room They Designed for Baby No. 2

Callie and Seth welcomed their second child, son Cash, in 2021. The boy, who will turn two this year, began receiving the finer things in life the moment he was born, from expensive clothes to a cute and luxurious nursery room.

In an interview with People, the couple shared the reason behind their son's decorative room. Callie stated that she wanted to design the room with pieces their little one could grow up with. The couple chose to settle for a baby crib with a firm surface for infants and a cushioned cover for toddlers.

The pair also wanted to display their love for reading, so they added a bookrack to display books of all sizes stylishly and elegantly. They also included acrylic wall shelves.

The lovebirds added a recliner which served as an excellent spot for nursing and relaxing with the baby. A daybed also came in handy as a guest bed. Seth said the day bed is his favorite spot for taking a nap.

The couple also decided to do a room makeover for their eldest child, Carter; they wanted her to feel excited and not left out. Since Carter's favorite color is yellow and she loves rainbows, the duo opted for that theme, and the design team brought their vision to life.

With Carter slightly grown at the time, her parents wanted to give her independence while still sticking to routine activities such as bedtime stories. Callie and Seth said Carter's new room would come in handy and make it easier for her to do most things herself.
