David Bromstad’s Siblings Stay Close despite Their Different Life Paths

David Bromstad's siblings pursued different career paths but remained close to each other. Although they live separately, the Bromstads always find a way to unite and be involved in each other's lives.

Most of David Bromstad's siblings chose the corporate route as their line of work, while one pursued a medical field. Meanwhile, David remains a fixture on television as a mentor on HGTV's "Design Star."

David's passion for his craft began at a younger age, honing his skills more at the Ringling School of Art and Design. He now uses his expertise to help others on the show while making a living for himself.

Throughout his career, David had the support of his three siblings; they even starred in his series. The close bond they displayed on-screen continued when the camera stopped rolling, leaving fans happy to know that David has a strong support system.

David Bromstad Is Very Close to His Family

David, born on August 17, 1973, is the youngest of four siblings. He has an older brother, Dean Richard, and two older sisters, Dyonne Rachel and Dynelle Renee Bromstad. Among them, he is closest to his sisters.

The Bromstand siblings are no strangers to David's social media account. As seen in his posts, their reunions are often filled with fun and laughter. The television personality also does not hide his love for them, as he usually shows appreciation through his captions.

In one of his posts, David revealed that his sisters team up to shower him with love and support. "They are such a huge part of my life," he said, noting that they all have a deep love and respect for each other. He added:

"We are goofy, weird, delightfully strange, fashionable, intensely honest, Hyper creative, and deliciously dorky."

Admittedly, David claimed that their captured images and videos online depict precisely what happens behind the scenes.

Dyonne Rachael Bromstad Also Has a Background in Design

Dyonne shares the same interest in design as her brother. She received her high school education at Dassel-Cokato High School and pursued an Associate's Degree in Interior Design at Dakota County Technical College.

Before graduating in 2017, Dyonne participated in her school's societies, including the Design Connexion of Phi Theta Kappa honors society, where she was Senate Representative and Treasurer.

Dynelle worked with patients who experienced Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Her education significantly helped her career as an Interior Designer Consultant at Northern Life Chiropractic and Integrity Professional Properties, LLC.

Dyonne's work experience started in 1999, long before she entered college. In February 2020, Dyonne joined Northern Life Wellness as an office coordinator, where she continues to work as of the time of this writing.

Although she remains private, Dyonne's last name, Bromstad-Danielson, suggests that she is married. She is also a proud mom to three kids—Maddy, Cooper, and Syd, all adults. She sometimes shares glimpses of her family on Facebook.

Dynelle Renée Bromstad Works in Family Therapy

Meanwhile, David's other sister, Dynelle, pursued a medical route. After graduating from the same high school as Dyonne, she studied nursing at Bethel University. She later became a registered nurse, specializing in Surgical Intensive Care and Labor and Delivery.

Dynelle also worked with patients who experienced Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. She later focused on specializing in marriage, family, and child counseling at Adler Graduate School. Since 2014, Dynelle has been in private practice. She said:

"I have found that there is an advantage to understanding the physical body from the medical viewpoint and how mind, body, and soul are interconnected. Connection of mind, body, and soul allows for a well-rounded and holistic approach to therapy."

She has since worked with patients recovering from addiction, anxiety, depression, and marital problems. Mental health is one aspect of the field which she tries to address.

According to his Facebook, Dean is an "easy-going person that loves life" and "enjoys being with friends and family."

Beyond her career, Dynelle is a proud mother of six children, who she raised in a blended family. Through her experience, she can further understand the stages of raising kids and blending them with families. Dynelle's last name, Helgeson, suggests that she is also married like her sister.

Dynelle shares a close and loving relationship with her children, and her social media presence reflects the pride and joy she takes in celebrating their achievements and special moments.

During her daughter's 2023 homecoming, Dynelle couldn't contain her pride in her daughter Sophia. She took to social media to express her admiration, sharing a photo of Sophie dressed in a stunning yellow dress, radiating confidence and beauty.

When Sophie took part in a dance competition, the occasion became another source of maternal pride for Dynelle. She took to her Instagram page to share a series of snapshots from the event, featuring Sophie in her dance costume.

On Sophie's 17th birthday in November 2023, Dynelle once again took to social media to shower her daughter with love. To mark the occasion, she shared several snapshots of Sophie and extended warm birthday wishes. She wrote:

“Happy 17th birthday, sweet Sophie! We love you very much and celebrating you today and always!”

Dean Richard Bromstad Is an Easy-Going Person

Like his siblings, Dean also attended Dassel-Cokato High School. In 2002, he pursued a career in Sales at Infinity Group, LTD. He continues to work at the company as of writing.

Dean is in a relationship with Bonnie Baxter. He went public about their romantic life in February 2023 when he introduced Bonnie to his followers. He shared a sweet selfie featuring himself and Bonnie, accompanied by a heartwarming caption that read, "Meet Bonnie!! She is a great soul and friend!!"

In another post in February 2023, Dean showcased a thoughtful and special present from Bonnie. He posted a picture proudly wearing a beautiful bracelet that Bonnie had gifted him.

In 2023, Dean celebrated a significant milestone in his father's life with a heartfelt social media post. During his father's 80th birthday. Dean took the opportunity to share a special photo of them. In his post, he extended warm birthday wishes to his father, expressing his love and appreciation for the significant moment.

Dean is a father to Brianna Standa, an Aveda Arts and Sciences Institute graduate. According to his Facebook, Dean is an "easy-going person that loves life" and "enjoys being with friends and family."

The father of one sometimes posts his activities on Facebook, but by the looks of it, he likes spending time with his daughter and her kids and riding his motorcycle.

Brianna began a family of her own when she married Kevin Standa on June 8, 2013. They later welcomed children, who are sometimes displayed on her Facebook posts.

Like the Bronstad siblings, some celebrities also share a close bond with their siblings. Among them is "Stranger Things" star Sadie Sink, whose parents raised them to be entertainers and athletes.

Although not as famous, Sadie's brother, Mitchell Sink, is also an aspiring actor. Her sister, Jacey Sink, also became an actress with a few credits under her belt.
