The actor shares two of his children with his first wife, Nicole Kidman, and his youngest daughter with his second wife, Katie Holmes. Unfortunately, both marriages ended in divorce.

Tom shares two oldest children, Connor Cruise and Isabella Cruise, with his ex-wife, Nicole. Tom and Nicole adopted both children in the 90s. Despite the divorce, the children built a healthy relationship with both parents. Rumors circulated that suggested Isabella had stopped speaking to her parents, which she publicly denied.

Tom and Connor's relationship recently stood out when the 28-year-old celebrated his dad's six Oscar nominations for the film "Top Gun: Maverick." Tom produced and starred in the latest installment of the "Top Gun" franchise, and although he wasn't nominated for his acting, the movie had a whole slew of nominations

Although things turned sour after the divorce, Tom still hopes he will get the chance to mend their relationship once Suri grows older.

Connor took to social media to congratulate his dad. The young man posted a photo of all the nominations the film had received on his Instagram story, pairing it with trophy emojis. The film's nominations include Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, Film Editing, Sound, Visual Effects, and Original Song.

Although Tom is close with his two adoptive children, he rarely gets the chance to see his biological daughter, Suri Cruise. Following Tom and Katie's divorce in 2001, the actor has had a complex relationship with his daughter. Tom and Suri haven't been seen together since 2012, and reports indicate that Suri spends most of her time with her mom.

Despite Having Ten Allotted Days per Month, Tom Never Sees His Daughter. Nonetheless, He Still Loves Her

After Tom and Katie separated, the action star spoke candidly about the reasons for their divorce, saying they differed greatly about how to raise their daughter. Tom wanted to raise Suri as part of his faith and the Church of Scientology, while Katie outright refused.

Even though Nicole has renounced the Church, she bears no grudge against her kids for staying.

After the split, Katie got custody of Suri, while Tom was told he could see her ten days per month. While Katie raised the little girl, Tom was ordered to pay a monthly child support stipend of $33,333.33, or $400,000 annually, until she turns 18. Although Tom has the opportunity to see his daughter, he hasn't done so yet.

Following the divorce, Katie has remained quiet about the divorce settlement and the Church of Scientology. The Church's detractors have speculated that her silence was part of the divorce settlement and helped her gain guardianship over Suri. Like her ex-husband, she prefers to stay out of the limelight.

According to Us Weekly, dissenters of Scientology have also suggested that Katie's father, a renowned attorney, advised her to cut ties with old friends that renounced the Church of Scientology. Despite these claims, Katie is yet to remark. Us Weekly's source noted:

"I think Katie just wants to keep the life she has right now with Suri and not get in a big fight with the church."

"My whole life, I always wanted to be a father."

Although things turned sour after the divorce, Tom still hopes he will get the chance to mend their relationship once Suri grows older. The Hollywood icon's representative spoke out about his estranged daughter, saying he never intended for things to turn out this way, and he's looking forward to mending the bridge between them.

Do Tom Cruise & Nicole Kidman's Kids Have a Strained Relationship with Their Mom?

Besides the rumors and whispers floating around regarding Tom's relationship with Suri, many have speculated about the actor's other children and their relationship with their mother. According to Leah Remini, a famous Scientology whistleblower, Connor and Isabella have little to say about their mom:

"[Bella called her mom an] SP. [Connor] just looked out the window. There was something human about his silence and the sadness I felt in it."

Connor and Isabella's mom left the Church a while before Leah decided to do the same. When Nicole left, she was instantly branded an SP (Suppressive Person). However, that didn't faze her, and she even helped Leah when she decided to distance herself from Scientology.

Even though Nicole has renounced the Church, she bears no grudge against her kids for staying. The actress has opened up about her love for her kids, saying very little could make her not love them anymore. She vowed always to offer them support and understanding. The actress remarked:

"They are adults. They are able to make their own decisions. They have made the choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, it's my job to love them. [I believe] that no matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I'm open here."

Nicole also confessed she prefers to keep her personal life and relationships with her kids private. The actress stated that she values the bond she has managed to build with her kids and wants to protect it no matter what.
