Henry and his wife, Stacey Weitzman, told their daughter to leave their home, and she was later grateful for that.
Henry Winkler, star of the hit show "Happy Days," has been married for an impressive 45 years. The happy couple also raised three children together. They share two biological kids, Zoe Emily Winkler, 43, and Max Winkler, 39. Besides the two kids he shares with his wife, Henry also helped raise his stepson, Jed Weitzman, 52.
When Henry married his wife, Stacey Weitzman, she had already been married and divorced once. The successful businesswoman had previously been married to the lawyer Howard Weitzman, and the pair had a son.

Henry, described as the "most amazing man" by his daughter, has largely shifted his focus from acting to family. The "Absolute Strangers" star is a proud dad and has done an excellent job raising his three kids. Henry's middle child, Max, has even followed in his dad's footsteps by going into entertainment and film.
Henry first met his wife, Stacey, in a store they both happened to visit that day, and it was love at first sight for the "Barry" star.
Max became a director, making a name for himself with popular TV shows such as "American Horror Story," and "New Girl." In a surprising reveal, fans found out in 2022 that Max had been married to the actress Jessica Burden for an entire year after she made an anniversary post on Instagram.
Many speculate the two had met and started a relationship in 2019 when they worked together on the film "Jungleland." Via another surprise Instagram post in 2021, Jessica revealed she was pregnant, to the shock of her adoring fans. So, Max became a little girl's father, and Henry the grandfather.

Henry's famous daughter-in-law also recently showed how close she is with her sister-in-law by posting a photo of Zoe on her Instagram story. The image captured a framed photo of a younger Zoe with the same ginger hair, sitting in a chair and smiling at the camera. She tagged Zoe in it and paired the post with a Nelly Furtado song.

Henry first met his wife, Stacey, in a store they both happened to visit that day, and it was love at first sight for the "Barry" star. He remembered the occasion, saying she caught his eye instantly, and he knew he wanted to meet her. The actor reminisced:
"She was wearing purple parachute pants and she had red hair and without her even saying a word, I thought, 'Woah, beautiful woman standing in front of me.'"

The following week, he returned to the same store and found her again. This time, he had built up enough courage to ask her out for a soda. However, he needed to pick up a wedding gift first, and he remembered her saying, "I am not a gift service!"

Luckily, she decided to accept the invitation after all, and they went out for ginger ales. The pair got along so well that Stacey and her son moved in with Henry only a few weeks after they met. A few years later, they welcomed their first child, Zoe, and later Max.
Life seemed blissful for the little family, and Stacey and Henry believed in showering their kids with love. Life with the Winklers was so happy that Zoe had difficulty leaving home after she finished high school. Leaving for college in 1998 was tremendously challenging for Zoe, and she returned home after only two years.

The mixture of family togetherness and a comfortable Hollywood life made it tricky to leave her parents' house, and Zoe struggled to find her footing in the world. Eventually, though, Henry and Stacey decided to do something, so they said to her, "We love you, but you need to move out." Zoe moved out, finished her degree, and became a teacher.

Her parents made the right decision to tell her to move out, since she quickly found that she could manage life on her own after all. She made an excellent teacher. She even met someone she was sure she would marry.
When Robert Reinis and Zoe started talking, they found many similar aspects. Soon, a romance blossomed between Zoe and Robert after they discovered they both wanted big, happy families. So, they dated for a while.

However, things turned sour in 2007 when Robert decided to end things. Zoe was heartbroken. She knew she wanted to marry Robert and didn't understand why he would break things off. She started doing introspection and saw:
"I needed to change. As I was growing up, everything was done for me. It was time for me to stand up and be an adult. I needed to take hold of my own life."

Luckily, Zoe and Robert both dealt with the questions they had about themselves, and Robert proposed in 2008. Days before their wedding, Henry said he didn't feel like losing his daughter. Zoe and Robert married in June of the same year, and a while later, the happy couple welcomed their first child together.
Besides teaching full-time, Zoe and Robert, her writer and producer husband, are loving parents. Zoe's dad supports her even now by being an excellent grandfather. Henry commented that he adores spending time with his grandkids, and when asked what he wants to be remembered for, he said, "My children's children."
