Ellen Heidingsfelder and Cooper Manning have been together for over two decades. Heidingsfelder has been there for her husband through thick and thin.
Before Ellen married Cooper, she had told him to take her to his doctor. This was after she had noticed her husband enduring immense pain on several occasions, but he had tried to be strong and act as if everything was okay. Despite all the challenges, Ellen was still there for Cooper.
A few years after they became husband and wife, someone asked Ellen if she would have still married Cooper if she knew he would face a permanent disability when he got to his 40s. Ellen responded that she would still say I do, regardless of his condition.
Ellen Heidingsfelder Lost Her Brother
Ellen is an attorney and a New Orleans native. She studied at the University of Virginia and Loyola University School of Law. She is the daughter of Dot Heidingsfelder and Dr. Charles E Heidingsfelder. Unfortunately, her mother passed away in 2020 after succumbing to the China virus.
Ellen and her husband wanted their children to engage in different sports, and they began training them at a young age.
Ellen has three siblings, two sisters: Molly Silvia and Jane Heidingsfelder, and her late brother Charles E Heidingsfelder, Jr, who died at an early age.
Even though Ellen is pursuing a different career, she played volleyball in high school. She was the most valuable Player (MVP) in the New Orleans Sacred Heart's 1986 state volleyball championship match.
Ellen Is with Cooper Manning No Matter What
Ellen Heidingsfelder and Cooper were friends for a long time. After many years of friendship, the two developed strong chemistry and finally exchanged vows in 1999.
Cooper, the older brother of Peyton Manning and Eli Manning, was once a football star. Though he didn't play the quarterback position like his brothers, he became an All-State wide receiver. Cooper had a promising football career, but before his freshman season, he began suffering from numbness in his fingers and hands.

After undergoing a series of medical examinations, he was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis, an injury that exerts pressure on the spinal cord and the nerves within the spine. As a result, he couldn't play soccer like his brothers.
Even though Cooper has faced many challenges, including his health, Ellen has been by his side no matter the circumstances. There were times when Ellen's husband would constantly face people's scrutiny due to his father's and brothers' popularity; still, his wife was there for him.
Before Cooper and Ellen relocated to their new picturesque home just a few minutes' drive from Cooper's parents' home, they would get regular visits from a nosy neighbor who enjoyed ringing their doorbell to talk to Cooper. The man would then intentionally mispronounce Cooper's name and call him Cougar.
Ellen Heidingsfelder is not only a loving and supportive partner, but she is also a protective wife. She always defended her husband whenever people would ask him inappropriate questions about how he didn't achieve the same success as his brothers.
Ellen Heidingsfelder and Her Husband Wanted Their Children to Play Sports
Ellen and her husband have three children: Arch, May, and Haid Manning. The eldest child, May, was born in 2002 and has already followed in her parent's footsteps. She played volleyball at the Academy of the Sacred Heart and now studies at the University of Virginia.
Their son Arch was born in 2004 and plays soccer like his cousin Mosley Thomson Manning. The couple's youngest child Heid was born in 2006.
Ellen and her husband wanted their children to engage in different sports, and they began training them at a young age. All their children are athletes, including their youngest child Heid who now plays lacrosse after shifting from baseball.
