Admittedly, his battles began at 18 and took a toll on him during his days filming "Mission: Impossible III." He said:

"When I watch that film, I can see where I was then, which was fairly lost, and unhappy, and an alcoholic."

It didn't take long before Maureen noticed what had been happening to her husband. Although challenging, she stood by him and encouraged him to seek help, so he received treatment at a rehabilitation center.
