Samara Weaving’s Husband: The ‘Babylon’ Star Married Jimmy Warden in Secret
In his cryptic way, Samara Weaving's husband, Jimmy Warden, was very open about their secret marriage. There is one particular social media post in 2021 where he left a big clue that the joyful couple has wed.
The only other public relationship that Samara Weaving's been in was at the beginning of her career with a co-star. Her husband, Jimmy Warden, has two fascinating projects out in 2023, "Cocaine Bear" and "Borderline," in which she plays the leading role.
The "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" actress is very flattered to be mistaken for Margot Robbie. She is the niece of "Lord of the Rings" actor Hugo Weaving, who was also Agent Smith in "The Matrix."

Samara Weaving Had a Brief Romance with Actor Axle Whitehead
Axle Whitehead confirmed to a weekend newspaper in June 2012 that he was dating his 20-year-old co-star on "Home and Away," saying that though it was still new, the relationship was "going well." The Aussie actor, born on December 16, 1980, is 12 years her senior.
Weaving joined the soap opera as Indi Walker in 2009, three years after Whitehead was cast as Liam Murphy. He previously dated another co-star on the show, Lisa Gormley.
A tabloid called the end of the relationship after only three months. The actor was reportedly spotted with a new partner in Surry Hills, Australia, and the actress was also said to be dating someone new.

The soap has been an informal pipeline to Hollywood for stars such as Heath Ledger, Isla Fisher, and the star of "Thor," Chris Hemsworth. Former lovers Weaving and Whitehead both left the show in 2013.
It was his directorial debut of a film he also wrote, "Borderline," that finally tipped off the media about the secret marriage.
Whitehead was on "Shameless" in 2013, an episode of "The Doctor Blake Mysteries," and two seasons on Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." He turned to his soapie roots in 2020 as Zenin Alexio in a four-episode arc on "Neighbours." The actor began his life in the spotlight competing on "Australian Idol."
Samara Weaving Secretly Married Director Jimmy Warden
Warden met Weaving while portraying 'Some A**hole' in the 2015 Netflix horror, "The Babysitter," in which she starred in the titular role; he was also a co-producer. Later, he wrote her character's biting lines in the 2020 sequel, "The Babysitter: Killer Queen."
The filmmaker, who has also been credited as James Warden, was a production assistant on "The Roommate" in 2011 and "21 Jump Street," and served as McG's assistant on one episode of "The Mysteries of Laura."
He worked on the production staff of the first seasons of "Kevin from Work" in 2015 and "Shadowhunters" in 2016. A true event inspired him to write "Cocaine Bear," a thriller directed by Elizabeth Banks, starring Ray Liotta, Margo Martindale, and Keri Russell.
It was his directorial debut of a film he also wrote, "Borderline," that finally tipped off the media about the secret marriage. The 2023 thriller stars Weaver as a pop star who is being stalked by an ex, Eric Dane, otherwise known as McSteamy, and Ray Nicholson co-starred.
The award-winning actress casually dropped the bomb in May 2022 that she is married during an interview with an Australian newspaper, reckoning their wedding just "went under the radar." She said it would be "really fun" to work with her husband on a film.
Their relationship came to light in a similar low-key way in 2016 when Warden started posting snaps of them. Weaving started sharing reciprocal posts a year later. A post of a blue vintage diamond ring served as their engagement announcement in March 2019.
Rumors of the secret wedding have been around since the director shared a photo of him and Weaving in matching black suits and ridiculous fake mustaches on May 4, 2021.
He said it had been two years since he married "Saving Silverman" actor Steve Zahn. The actress' faux 'stach was reminiscent of Zahn's, leading some to the conclusion that it was an inside joke between the (married?) couple.
Silly nicknames seem to be the couple's love language on social media, with him once referring to her as 'Slammin' Salmon' on her birthday and her calling him 'Jimbob' and 'Jimrat' on separate occasions.
Samara Weaving Has Been Constantly Mistaken for Margot Robbie
One fan thought casting Weaving as an actress that replaces Robbie's character in the movie within a movie that is "Babylon" was "fun." The two Australian actresses are often mistaken for each other with their large blue eyes, blond tresses, and toothy smiles.
The comparisons heightened in 2018 when they were on the award circuit for "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" and "I, Tonya."
Weaving trashed rumors about a rivalry between them in March 2018, saying she takes it as a compliment to be compared to the "I, Tonya" actress. She encouraged fans not to pit two female actresses against each other.

A Twitter movie buff struggled to watch 2019's "Ready or Not," not for the horror, but their disbelief that Robbie was not the star.
Journalist Krutika Mallikarjuna expressed her confusion with a "SpongeBob Squarepants" meme, while another named Weaving his favorite Margot Robbie.

The doppelgangers came face-to-face on the 2018 Oscars red carpet and have hung out a lot since. Weaving has also met with "inspiring" Robbie's production company. Their partners, Warden and director Tom Ackerley, are close friends.
The friends had an awkward moment at a January 2023 screening of "Babylon" by showing up in gowns with a high slit in a similar hue of baby blue. In the photos, they had the advantage of co-stars Diego Calva and Phoebe Tonkin acting as a buffer between them.
