Aimee Carrero’s Husband Tim Rock Is an Actor - Inside His Career & Marriage
Aimee Carrero's husband, Tim Rock, came into her life with the intervention of his best friend, though at least one other party tried to set them up.
Like his wife, Aimee Carrero, Tim Rock is an actor, but his focus has been more on the theater. The playful pair have worked together once on her hit sitcom.
The couple named each table after a street they lived on for their wedding reception in Colorado. The bridal pair's table was called "Mulholland Drive," where they made their first home together in Los Angeles.
Aimee Carrero's Husband Has a Lot of Experience Acting on TV & Theater
Rock is an alum of The School at Steppenwolf in Chicago, The Neighborhood Playhouse, and the Shakespeare Lab at the Public Theater in New York City.
He received a Joseph Jefferson nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in "What's Wrong With Angry" at the Circle Theater. He was in off-Broadway productions of "Mother Courage" and "Pearl."
The thespian has a long list of theater credits in Chicago, including "Bach at Leipzig Life" and "Limb" and "BottleCanDraft." He has taken part in the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Williamstown, Massachusetts.

The actor starred as Tim in the 2011 horror "Children of the Corn: Genesis." He had guest-starring parts in a slew of fan-favorite TV shows such as "House," 'Magnum P.I.," "NCIS" opposite Sean Murray, and "FlashForward" with John Cho.
The couple got engaged in Paris on their first anniversary.
He got to be in an episode of the final season of Carrero's show with Jonathan Sadowski and Emily Osment, "Young & Hungry."
Tim Rock's Job Was One of the Factors in Meeting His Wife
Robert Belushi tried to set up his "Devil's Due" co-star with his best friend, Rock. Carrero politely declined as she was giving an ex a second chance. The future lovers' paths crossed again when they had back-to-back photo shoots in Santa Monica, and the actress arrived early for her appointment.
The photographer and his wife tried to play cupid by sending the "Young & Hungry" starlet home with hair product Rock had forgotten in the studio and told him how to retrieve it and ask her out. But the "cute guy at the studio" did not call, and he still has not gotten his product back.
A year and one day after their meeting in Santa Monica, they finally went on their first date, thanks to the intervention of Belushi once again.
Tim & Aimee Married 10,000 Feet above Sea Level
The couple got engaged in Paris on their first anniversary. Though neither of them is "outdoorsy," they picked Starpeak Estate in Aspen, Colorado, for their August 20, 2016, venue because they wanted to be connected with nature as they committed to each other. Carrero remembers:
"It felt like we were on top of the world, and in a sense, we kind of were. 10,000 feet above sea level to be exact, the highest most of us in attendance that day had ever been."
The bride wore a custom Naeem Khan white lace gown with a plunging neckline, in contrast, as Rock would later point out, to her groom's slick Thom Browne tux. Belushi was the best man. The wedding slogan, "Love on the Rocks," was depicted by a neon sign on a photo wall made of forest greens.
Tim & Aimee's Union Is as Strong as Ever after Almost 7 Years
Almost seven years into their union, the marriage is neither on the rocks nor is there an itch. Rock said on their sixth wedding anniversary in 2022 that he was so grateful to have experienced that day with his "big love:"
"6 years ago: you in white, me in black. 6 days ago: you in black, me in white. Constantly, unconsciously, fusing polar opposites into their natural, rightful whole. Marriage is balance: making room for your other, taking a little more, giving a little more, all while ensuring that the glass never overflows nor runs dry. "
The couple dressed up as Wednesday Adams and the racist dad from "Get Out" for their second Halloween as a married couple and as Fleabag and Hot Priest from Amazon's "Fleabag" the following year.
On Carrero's 30th birthday, Rock spoke directly to his social media following, hoping they too could meet her: "She'll make you better. " To which she replied: "God only knows what I'd be without you. "
