Earlier today, actress Valerie Bartinelli, the star of "Hot in Cleveland," wished her son Wolfgang Van Halen a happy birthday on Instagram. She posted a black-and-white photo of herself hugging and kissing her big baby, which has surpassed 16,000 likes in two hours.

She wrote a highly expressive caption about how much she loves her sweet boy before asserting that the world, for her, is a better place because he lives in it. The picture and words in the caption depict a solid relationship between Wolfgang and his dotting mother.

Wolfgang's birthday was the second half of his back-to-back birthday celebrations. Just a day before his birthday, Wolfgang's mother shared another sweet birthday message on Instagram, wishing her son's fiancée a happy birthday and reassuring her that she was delighted to have her in their family.

Wolfgang and his fiancée became engaged last year. The actress's son shared a selfie with his wife-to-be on Instagram early in July 2022, announcing that "she said yes." The birthday boy's mother was so excited that she asked people in the comments how to like the post a million times over.

Valerie welcomed her son, Wolfgang, with her late ex-husband, the iconic musician and guitarist of the rock band Van Halen, Edward Van Halen. They received him on March 16, 1991, and he has grown into his famous father's legacy, pursuing a career in music. He was also part of his father's band for 13 years until 2020.

Wolfgang has since branched out as a solo musician and released his hard rock one-man-band album Mammoth WVH in 2021. He fills in all the roles and plays all the instruments in the 14-song project.

"It's very freeing to start this path now, rather than doing what everybody would expect me to do, to get out there and just play covers of Van Halen songs," the musician said of the preconceived notions about his career before adding that he would never want to do that with his career.

The album shows the birthday boy's incredible musical ability to do it all on his own. Wolfgang revealed that his father had heard the album before he died and that it was the only album on his phone. He recalled what his father said: "I'm sure it's proud dad talk, but 'Favorite album of all time."

His father had always wanted him to succeed in paving a path as a musician. Wolfgang recalled that Edward was not the best music teacher. Still, the 32-year-old believes that Edward's inability to flood him with his proven ideas has played a role in the one-man band finding his voice as a musician.

His parents' marriage seemed to be a perfect union from the outside looking in, but they later admitted they lacked a real connection. Edward then married his second wife in 2007, and he remained with his second wife until he died in 2020 after battling cancer. However, it is reported that the musician admitted his love for Valerie in his final days.
