Annie Wersching's 46th & Heavenly Birthday Celebrated by Fans Who Still 'Can't Believe' She Is Gone
Beloved actress Annie Wersching passed away at 45 following a long battle with cancer. The actress was a picture of resilience when she continued acting after her diagnosis. However, after her publicist confirmed her passing, Annie Wersching's family and mourning continued to remember her legacy.
Wersching's estate has kept her memory alive by running her social media and paying tribute to the actress on her Birthday. On March 28, Wersching would have turned 46, and her estate shared a beautiful picture of the actress with the caption, "Happy Birthday to our beautiful Annie!! #foreverinourhearts."
In the comments section, one fan shared, "Hard to believe you aren't right here with us. Beautiful Annie. Vivacious, bright-eyed, and happy." Another fan commented, "I can't believe she's gone."
A third typed, "We miss you, beautiful angel," and a fourth added, "I thought about her when I saw the date on my phone last night at midnight. Sending a big healing hug to her boys." Wersching's publicist confirmed that she had passed away at 45 in January after a three-year-long battle with cancer. Despite the actress's 2020 diagnosis, she showed no signs of slowing down.
She landed a role in the second season of "Star Trek: Picard" as the Borg queen, "The Rookie," and was the voice behind the character Tess in the popular video game "The Last Of Us," which was adapted into a TV series by HBO.
Annie Wersching Left Behind a Loving Husband & Three Sons
Along with her fans, Wersching left behind her sons and husband, Stephen Full, who lived a more lowkey life. Like his late wife, Full had a career in the film industry, with various roles on the silver and small screen.
Originally from Chicago, Full played Benny on the 2009 series "Castle" and was the voice behind Stan the Dog on Disney Channel's "Dog with a Blog." Following the news of his wife's passing, Full released a statement that read in part, "There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it."
Full and Wersching welcomed three sons during their marriage: Freddie, Ozzie, and Archie, for whom a GoFundme was set up following their mother's passing. The boys often appeared on their mother's social media, including in 2019, when the late actress shared a picture of her youngest bundle of joy in a St. Louis Blues jersey. In November of that same year, the family of five wore beaming smiles as they had a blast on Halloween.
