Carys Douglas Singing 'Shallow' on Stage Gave Followers the 'Chills'
Carys Douglas, daughter of Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Michael Douglas is a star in the making. She gives her followers on Instagram a look at her growing discovery of her talent, and just like her parents, she has dabbled in acting.
Carys took to Instagram a couple of days ago, sharing a greyscale video that left her many followers gasping. Carys's Instagram video shows her singing on stage with a live band. Judging from the tremendous applause at the location, she did really well.
Carys sang the Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper smash hit, "Shallow." A flagship record that has accumulated 1.4 billion views on YouTube to date. Fans and supporters appreciated Carys's talent, as her social media content shows she is pursuing a music career.
Carys's mother, Catherine Zeta-Jones, was in awe of her daughter's talent and commented, "Carys!!!!! Amazing! Wish I was there. Love you. Have a blast baby." One of the live band members assured Catherine that her daughter was, in fact, outstanding on the night, then added:
"I'm Sibbi, the singer in the band and we play Shallow every night with different [guest] singers. Carys is one of the best we've ever had 🥰 I went down on my knees and begged to come back the following night."
Carys's followers were also impressed with her vocal ability; one wrote, "Carys I have chills holy smokes I love you." Another wrote, "You are a superstar! Magnificent." A third exclaimed, "You've had an amazing voice since you were a little one! So proud of you my love! Keep shining!!"

Carys is no stranger to displaying her vocal talents. She shared a video last year in August of herself singing as she played the piano. "A little afternoon sing for you," she captioned the post. In addition to her undeniable vocal ability, Carys inherited the acting bug that her parents, Catherine and Michael Douglas, turned into a career.
She starred as Wendla in the college drama "Spring Awakening," in college. Her mother shared a video of her divulging in the caption that Carys was performing on her last night of the play. Michael and Catherine welcomed her on April 20, 2003, and although she was born into fame, she experienced a normal childhood.
Carys is the younger sister of her parents' only boychild, Dylan Douglas—Michael does have another son from a previous marriage. Dylan was born on August 8, 2000, nearly three years before Carys. He is growing into stardom and shows up at red-carpet events strutting his fashion-forward stuff.
Like the rest of his family, Dylan has a talent for performance and starred in an episode of "Phineas and Ferb" as Russell. He has also been featured on TV shows such as "Entertainment Tonight" and "Formula 1: BBC Sport."
