Elyn Diamond Supports Charities – Facts about Neil Diamond's Daughter
Elyn Diamond is Neil Diamond's youngest daughter who stays away from the spotlight. However, she supported her father's singing career for many years and would cheer for him on tour.
Neil Diamond is one of the well-renowned artists of his time with a strong passion for creating music. Unfortunately, the singer was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2018, but that didn't stop his creativity.
In 2021, Neil proudly said he was working on new songs. However, he was no longer performing on tour. He has a robust support system, as he's had for several years, through his loving family, including his daughter, Elyn Diamond.

Elyn Is Neil Diamond's Daughter by His High School Sweetheart
Born November 6, 1968, Elyn is the youngest of Neil's two daughters from his first wife, Jayne Posner. Elyn's father was only a teen when he fell in love with Posner, his high school sweetheart. After tying the knot, they welcomed Marjorie, Elyn's older sister.
Unfortunately, Elyn's parents only remained married for six years. Then in his 20s, Neil described his divorce as traumatic. He said:
"I'd been on the road for five years, taking any job that was offered. I was exhausted [and] my marriage was over."
After the separation, Elyn and Marjorie lived in New Jersey with their mother and stepfather. Still, Neil tried to be a good dad to his kids.
Elyn Diamond Created Her Own Family
In 2005, Elyn had a family of her own. She married producer Mitchel Resnick and took his last name, making her Elyn Diamond Resnick. Later that year, on December 20, Elyn became a mother with the birth of her daughter, Avery Max.
Elyn remained out of the spotlight her whole life and kept her private life away from the public eye. Not much is known about her marriage and family.

Elyn also appeared with her dad during a Sony concert at Lincoln Center in 1993 and a Children Who Never Forget Foundation benefit in 2000.
However, in 2014, Elyn joined the Taylor Smith Pie Smash Challenge and gave the public a glimpse of her days. She appeared with two young girls in the short clip, presumably her kids, and commented that she wished to have done more. The viral challenge helped support Smith's TBI recovery and rehabilitation.
Elyn also has a Facebook account which she utilizes for posting about charitable activities and fundraising. In 1996, Elyn was known to have headed a foundation for abused kids. However, her current involvements are unknown.

Elyn Diamond Appeared with Her Father at Public Events

Elyn and her siblings are undoubtedly one of the greatest blessings Neil received in life, and admittedly, he sometimes feels he doesn't deserve them and everything he has.
Neil, now in his 80s, is a grandfather to eight grandchildren. Unfortunately, his health hasn't been the best. The "Sweet Caroline" artist's routine mainly consists of exercising, taking his medications, and staying productive.
Recently, the famous singer had an emotional interview with "CBS Sunday Morning" and revealed he had been in denial about his health for years. It wasn't until the past weeks that Neil Diamond finally came to terms with it.
