Ashley McBryde always dreamed of making it big in the music industry. Today, she is living the dream. Besides receiving a Grammy and Academy award, she topped the Billboard Country Airplay charts in 2020. The singer's successful music career got fans wondering who Ashley McBryde's partner is.

McBryde discovered her passion for music at three when she tried to play her dad's guitar. Her parents spotted her talent and bought her a guitar. She learned to play the instrument and wrote her first song at 17.

At first, she played the songs to her family members, but when she joined Arkansas State University, she gained confidence and began performing for a wider audience. McBryde has since grown to be a successful country singer admired by many.

Are Ashley McBryde's Songs 'Never Wanted to Be That Girl' & 'Andy (I Can't Live Without You)' about Someone She Loved?

While McBryde is often transparent in her interviews, the 39-year-old tends to draw the line regarding matters concerning her love life. Even though she has been in the limelight for many years, the singer has kept her relationship status a mystery.

When one of her bandmates and friend got involved in a fatal accident, the singer [McBryde] was concerned about his health, and through her social media page, asked fans to support him with his medical needs.

She has never been married, and it's unclear if she is in any relationship, but some of her songs have given fans a glimpse into her dating life.

When McBryde and Carly Pearce released "Never Wanted To Be That Girl," the song performed well, and they won a Grammy for the best country/duo group performance. McBryde told PEOPLE that she and Pearce's willingness to be honest with each other contributed to the music becoming a hit.

Pearce also told the publication that the two bonded over a real-life story while writing the song. The song, which is at 19 million views on Youtube as of this writing, follows a story told from two female perspectives as they struggle with experiencing infidelity in the same relationship.

When McBryde released "Andy (I Can't Live Without You)," fans thought the song was about a loved one because of the sensitive details she shared. However, in 2018 during an interview, the singer dismissed the claims and clarified that the song was about Andrew Sovine, her band guitarist and roommate. She said:

"That whole song came about because I had gotten home before him and asked when he was gonna get to the house, and he texted and said he wasn't coming home that night."

In the song, McBryde shares intimate details about how she and Sovine would hang out and play games together while drunk and how she would sometimes get offended when Sovine would use her towels on the dog.

Though she admitted many people thought they were together because of living under one roof, she insisted she and Sovine were just good buddies.

The Public Still Doesn't Know Anything About Ashley McBryde's Love Life, but She Seems Happy Now

McBryde still keeps her love life private and seems focused on her career, especially after winning her first Grammy this year. Also, she appears to be caring and is close to her friends.
