22-Year-Old Mom Gets Shamed after Sharing Photo before She Had Kids: 'You Became Lazy?'
A young woman meant fun and no serious business when she posted her picture from years ago before she became a mom and had children. Astonishingly enough, her post garnered much attention, inviting criticism from the online community, with many accusing her of slacking off.
Are you familiar with the trend of sharing flashback and throwback photos from bygone years? A lot can happen in a few years, and for many of us, the comparison between who we once were and who we are now can be a little overwhelming.
As we age and add more years to our life, we undergo changes that may impact our overall appearance. And while maturity helps people become wiser and more experienced, it may subject them to undue feedback and unwelcome opinions. Today's story sheds light on a similar scenario.
Motherhood is no easy feat. A mom's life is filled with a myriad of challenges and centers solely around ensuring her family's well-being. Many women undergo drastic physical and emotional changes as they step into parenthood.
But she was even more amazed to notice that people had mixed views to share on her transformation through the years.
Then versus Now
Jill, a mother of two from Bon Harbor Hills, Owensboro, Kentucky, didn't know what she was getting into when she turned to TikTok and posted something. To poke fun at herself, she shared her photo before becoming a mom, followed by a more recent picture of herself.
The eight-second video began with a picture of a blonde 14-year-old girl wearing a light-pink top and skinny blue jeans. The teenager completed her look with a matching pink handbag and a bright, vibrant smile. The in-lay text read:
"The girl he thought he'd be with forever."
Taking a Dig at Herself
The second half of the clip showed the same girl, having transitioned into womanhood and motherhood, with her brunette hair tied into a messy bun.
Looking understandably exhausted with an annoyed facial expression and a disapproving look, the 22-year-old woman bent forward and uttered, "No, that's not me."
Her comment was clearly aimed at the young slim-looking girl in the first photo as she took a dig at herself. "7 years and 2 kids later," read the in-lay text. She captioned the video:
"Yet somehow he's more attracted to me than ever 😂 it's the moo moo (sic)."
Going Viral
The Kentucky woman shares a boy and girl with her husband and goes as "Mama Jill" on TikTok. As of April 13, 2023, she has a whopping 1.7 million followers on the popular video-sharing platform, with over 103 million combined likes on all her posts.
Jill, who has a verified TikTok account, didn't expect her video to create a buzz online. She posted the clip in March 2022, and within a short time, it had amassed millions of views and surprising reactions from the online community.

Gaining Traction & Receiving Criticism
When Jill posted the short clip, she never expected it to explode and receive an overwhelming response from netizens. But she was even more amazed that people had mixed views to share on her transformation through the years.
Interestingly, not everyone was supportive of the famous TikToker's changing appearance, with one user stating, "[What] in [expletive]? So you became lazy?" Here are a few other comments criticizing Jill's before and after images:

Blessed with the Best
Despite the mixed views her TikTok video received, Jill couldn't be bothered since her husband, Brandon, loves her all the same. She often shares glimpses from her family life online, including her witty banters and romance with Brandon.
In one such video from March 27, 2023, Jill and Brandon were seen making the most of their time together in their children's absence. "Our love for each other filling our bodies after a night away from our kids (sic)," read the in-lay text as the duo smiled and kissed.
Love above All Else
In an Instagram post from February 15, 2023, Jill shared a throwback snap of Brandon holding her in his arms when she was 14. "You're 14 it's just puppy love (sic)," read the caption.
Later, she shared a video of her and Brandon at present, eight years later. Bradon lovingly carried his beloved wife in his arms and kissed her before the adorable clip concluded.
It's evident from Jill's social media clips that she's living a happy married life with her husband, and we hope that never changes.
Since July 2021, Jill has been sharing her weight loss journey online, claiming to have lost almost 50 pounds. However she and Brandon choose to live their lives, we wish them nothing but love and happiness!
