‘Still So Cute!’: Patrick Duffy Is Now 74 & Looks ‘Extraordinary’ in Video While Aging ‘Normally'
Patrick Duffy got an early start promoting his sourdough starter for Mother's Day in an Instagram video on April 19, 2023. The mothers and their daughters were eating it up, one commenting, "You are still so cute!!"
"Oh, hello, Mr.Duffy!!! Looking extraordinary well!" an admirer wrote to Patrick Duffy under his post punting Duffy's Dough, adding "All the best from me and big respect from me and my family." "So lovely," said voice-over artist Emma Wheeler.
A fan wrote, "How beautiful it is to see the big Dallas star crush of my entire generation aging normally." A second fan agreed, "U look great, Mr. Duffy," a third added, "Good to see u!!"
One fan took a more informal approach when writing to the "Dallas" actor, "Happy to see you, Patrick. You're always in my heart. Always have, always will."
It was positive feedback like this, but for his homemade rolls at the dinner parties, that emboldened Duffy and his wife, Linda Purl, to take a "germ of an idea commercial" with an element of social responsibility.
After one such party, they pitched Duffy's Dough to a businessman who helped to execute their vision. "Central to the idea would be that, in time, Duffy's Dough would be able to support causes we believe in," the 74-year-old states on the company website.

Patrick Duffy "Looks Forward" to Growing Older
In a 2014 interview, Duffy reflected that he "probably shouldn't have worshipped the sun" in his youth but now uses sunblock "religiously."
The practicing Buddhist chants twice daily and takes an "inventory" of himself in the morning and evening, where he asks himself what he has done and how he can improve on. He explains:
"It's a kind of self-exam, and you can't lie to yourself. I don't get disappointed but get determined."

When it comes to growing older, Duffy "looks forward" to it, which he believes helps slow down the effects. He greatly admires his former "Dallas" colleague, Linda Gray's healthy lifestyle and habits.
The family-oriented director and Linda Purl are blessed to have three sons between them, two of whom have given them four grandbabies between them.
Their "connection to nature" are essential to Purl and Patrick Duffy's lifestyle. They have homes in California, Colorado, and Mexico, where they spend time outdoors on hikes, cycling, swimming, and skiing.
