India Armateifio has established herself among the most private Hollywood starlets who only allow their work to speak for them. She has divulged little about her personal life, but the young actress has extensive experience performing in front of the camera and on stage.

Armateifio studied at a prestigious drama school known for producing some of the world's most prominent artists. She debuted onscreen as Florence in the 2013 comedy-drama "Gangster Granny." 2014 was quiet for her on TV, but she returned in 2015, starring as Hannah in the mini-series "The Interceptor."

The Public Knows Little about India Amarteifio's Personal Life

Armateifio and Mylchreest's portrayal of Queen Charlotte and King George's romance was the subject of praise among Twitter fans, as one noted, "Only good reviews about queen charlotte and everyone saying India and Corey's chemistry is insane."

A few days ago, another tweeted a touching scene depicting the onscreen couple as they tearfully confess their love for each other, writing, "This scene still has me in shambles. India Amarteifio and Corey Mylchreest, the actors that you are #QueenCharlotte."

In a red-carpet interview with Extra late last month, Mylchreest revealed in passing that he was currently seeing someone, though her identity remains unknown. On the other hand, his co-star, Armateifio, has yet to divulge anything about her personal life.

The 22-year-old only recently joined social media. She has dedicated her Instagram profile primarily to work-related content, including behind-the-scenes photos and promotive posts. At the time of writing, her timeline showed no signs of a romantic relationship.

Armateifio's main priority appears to be her work. After seeing people of color in "Bridgerton" donning period attire, she thought, "I want to be part of this." And now the actress is proud to play a character where every young black girl "can finally see herself represented as royalty."

India Amarteifio Attended Sylvia Young Theatre School

Armateifio honed her craft at the prestigious London-based school that candidly stated its high expectations for its students. "Our aim is to develop the whole person as well as provide a unique opportunity for students with potential in the performing arts to train and perfect their skills. Expectations are high," the institution wrote.

Other stars who have graced its corridors include Amy Winehouse, Billie Piper, Rita Ora, and Keeley Hawes. Armateifio also studied at The Richmond Academy of Dance, initially poised for a professional dancing career. However, she chose to focus on acting instead.

Before achieving superstardom, in 2015, Armateifio spoke about earning recognition the hard way. "People think stage school kids are brats, that they get everything and don't work for their money. But it's really not about money, and I don't think people understand how much training you go through," she lamented.

Students at the Sylvia Young Theater School would spend eight hours a day training in dancing, acting, and singing, Armateifio explained. But despite the negative connotations of being a theater kid, she felt "very lucky" to have had the opportunity.
