Inside Lisa Marie Presley’s Last Home before She Died at 54
Lisa Marie Presley jumped residences in the last years of her life. The late singer-songwriter moved to a rented house following the harrowing death of her son, Benjamin.
Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of the King of Rock N' Roll, Elvis Presley, didn't live in her own home in her final years, but it was nothing short of luxurious.
In the sprawling glamour of Los Angeles, her final residence served as a quietly regal retreat for the actress until her sudden demise from cardiac arrest on January 12, 2023. Nestled in a peaceful cul-de-sac, the stone-built chateau was acquired by its present owners for close to $3.5 million in the autumn of 2021.

The residence, a sprawling 7,500-square-foot mansion, characterizes itself with six elegantly designed bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms, embodying a sense of both comfort and grandeur. The lavish grounds, lush with verdant landscaping, offer an unobstructed view of the surrounding hills.
These outdoor charms provide a range of luxury amenities, including an outdoor fireplace, a built-in grill, a ramada-shaded dining terrace, and a captivating free-form dark-bottom pool complete with a spillover spa.
Soaring beamed ceilings and polished wood floors exude comfort and luxury at every turn. At the heart of the house, a grand double-height foyer leads into ample living and dining spaces. These rooms are augmented by a state-of-the-art home theater and a sprawling great room encompassing a gourmet kitchen and breakfast area, a cozy family room, and a sunny solarium.
The primary suite, a regal bi-level bedroom, features a sitting area with a fireplace, a separate study/massage room, a substantial walk-in closet, and a decadently appointed bathroom.
In March 2020, Lisa Marie purchased a five-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Calabasas Estate Park for $1.8 million. The property was fraught with tragedy, as her son, Benjamin Keough, tragically took his own life within its walls in July of the same year. Heartbroken, Lisa Marie was unable to set foot in the home, leading her to sell the property for $2 million on December 29.

Before her death, Lisa Marie's property portfolio included a Florida home, bought by the late actress Kristie Alley for $1.5 million nearly 23 years ago, and the iconic Graceland, inherited from her father.
Lisa Marie's death sparked a legal tussle over Graceland's ownership between Lisa Marie's mother, Priscilla Presley, and her daughter Riley Keough.
Months later, family unity emerged from the courtroom, with Priscilla's attorney, Ronson J. Shamoun, declaring that "everyone is happy." Shamoun, who also represents Lisa Marie's Promenade Trust, characterized the family as "united."

The case is set to reconvene on August 4, as determined by L.A. County Superior Court Judge Lynn H. Scaduto. The settlement, which includes a significant life insurance policy, is due to be filed by June 12.
While the legal saga continues, Lisa Marie Presley's last residence remains a testament to her life of understated elegance. It encapsulates the final chapters of a Hollywood story punctuated by glamour and personal tragedy, showcasing a fascinating portrait of the star in the quiet sophistication of her surroundings.
