DaBaby & DaniLeigh Dating: They Had Troubles in Their Relationship
Despite rumors that DaniLeigh and DaBaby were dating, neither of the musicians addressed any claims even after they welcomed a child together. However, their alleged relationship ended after the rapper kicked DaniLeigh out of his house, which was documented on Instagram Live.
DaniLeigh is an R&B artist of Dominican origin who took the music industry by storm following the release of her chart-topping songs "Easy"—later remixed to feature Chris Brown—and "Lil Bebe."
The Miami native made her musical debut in 2017, following her background in dancing, and cemented herself as a talented singer and songwriter after the release of her EP "The Plan" and "My Present" in 2018 and 2019, respectively.

As DaniLeigh's following grew, the singer's fans started to take an interest in her beyond her musical gifts, including her dating life. After sparking romance rumors with rapper DaBaby, she kept the true nature of their relationship private.
However, whatever was going on between them came to a disastrous end when the rapper filmed himself kicking DaniLeigh out of the house and calling the police on her, all while their newborn was present.
DaBaby Released a Controversial Single and Mentioned DaniLeigh's Name
In 2020, DaBaby added fuel to the romance rumors fire when he name-dropped DaniLeigh in his single, "GO." In the song from his album "Blame It on Baby," the rapper suggested that he and DaniLeigh were involved after describing her by her curly hair and calling her a "freak."

Around the same time DaBaby released "GO," DaniLeigh appeared to be referencing her rumored boyfriend's song when she tweeted:
"I'm the best gf. I'm loyal, loving, motivating, a woman of God, a family girl, a freak, a woman of God, I'm funny, I'm jiggy, hardworking, I ain't boring... I'm perfect."
A month before her tweet and DaBaby dropped "GO," DaniLeigh took to Instagram to share a snap of herself cozied in bed with a man believed to be DaBaby. The alleged couple was also spotted out and about and appeared to be very cozy with each other.
DaniLeigh and DaBaby Have a Baby
After speculation that DaBaby and DaniLeigh had welcomed a daughter together, the rapper seemingly confirmed the rumors after he turned to Instagram in October 2021 to share a snap of himself matching with little ones and revealing that he had "3 pretty daughters, nieces & nephews to feed."
However, things turned for the worst a month later when a representative from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed two incidents involving the rapper and the singer, with charges being filed against DaniLeigh.
According to reports, officers responded to a domestic assault call where DaBaby said DaniLeigh had assaulted him. DaBaby appeared to call the police on DaniLeigh during a fight the two had that he streamed on Instagram Live.
In the series of videos that have now been shared on social media, DaBaby and DaniLeigh hurled insults at each other while she fed their daughter, who she claimed the rapper had barely seen since her birth. In an attempt to make DaniLeigh leave, the rapper called the police and later revealed:
"I don't want no charges pressed or nothing. I just want her peacefully removed..."
During an interview with Angie Martinez in May 2022, DaniLeigh candidly spoke about her relationship with DaBaby and revealed that she and the rapper had been in a "bad place" and that things had ended before the altercation he streamed.
However, to make things work, she returned to his home, where the events caught on camera occurred. "It was just a bad time... we were just really going through it. A lot of things were said; a lot of things came out that night... It all came out on that live, for sure. It was very triggering—very sad. I wish it didn't happen," DaniLeigh said.
