Clint admitted he knew he was looking at someone special, even though he knew nothing about her and had never seen her on TV. The musician said all it took was looking into Lisa's eyes to know she was unique.

Clint and Lisa, who embarked on their first joint tour in 2021, have captivated fans' hearts with their sweet love for one another and their enduring relationship in a world where most marriages suffer.

When asked how they have remained madly in love for so many years, Clint openly revealed:

Yet Clint did not want to silence his wife and often sang with her. In fact, he enjoys telling the story of how he got Lisa back into a recording studio to sing "When I Said I Do" with him. He shared:

"I go, 'Sing this with me,' because she would sing harmony with me on my favorite songs around the kitchen. So after two days, we're singing this song, and she sounds great, and then I told her, 'You're going to have to record that with me."

She told him she would not record the song with him and that he ought to find a real singer to do it. When he asked her why she wouldn't record the song with him, she revealed she was fearful because it seemed like a big deal.

Clint managed to convince her to record the song by telling her that if she didn't, he would find someone else to do it, and she would always look back on it and wish it had been her.

The couple's daughter has also dipped her toes in the singing pool. Lisa had watched her daughter develop a love for animals growing up and thought Lily would be a veterinarian. However, that assumption soon disappeared.

One day, Lisa and Clint heard their daughter singing and realized she would probably not be a vet. Their thoughts were later confirmed when their daughter became interested in singing.

The Blacks have turned singing into a family business and, in 2021, planned to take their act on the road via the show, "Mostly Hits & The Mrs." Shortly after they announced their tour, they revealed their daughter would join them as an aspiring artist.

Lily joined her mother and father on tour after she decided to take a gap year while studying music at Belmont University in Nashville. Clint had asked his daughter to join the tour while the family sat at their dining room table. Lily revealed that when her father suggested it, she screamed and almost cried.

Lily considers her mother and father her best friends and, as an only child, has an extremely close relationship with them. This was not a coincidence, as Lisa made sure to nurture that relationship by stepping back from Hollywood to focus on raising her only child.

Lisa and Clint fondly look back on their daughter's childhood, knowing they did their best to always be there for her. They also nurtured her love of performing from a young age and are now the proud parents of an aspiring country artist.
