Claudia Jessie's Partner: The 'Bridgerton' Star Keeps Her Romances Private Though Once Spoke about Her Boyfriend
Claudia Jessie is a young rising British star who previously described herself as introverted. She prefers keeping details of her love life to herself but once candidly spoke about her boyfriend.
Jessie is popularly known for her role in the famous period drama "Bridgerton," in which she plays Eloise Bridgerton, the second oldest sister in the family.
However, her breakout role was in the British historical drama "Vanity Fair," wherein she played Amelia Sedley. Jessie has since gone on to star in numerous shows.

Besides her career, she maintains a lowkey love life. Even so, she has shared details about who she has been dating.
Jessie got candid about her boyfriend and even revealed his name and what he did for a living. It is safe to say that it is not someone within the entertainment industry.
Who Is Claudia Jessie Dating in Real Life?
Although reserved about her romantic life, Claudia Jessie revealed her partner at the time's name during an August 2018 interview: Joseph. They had been dating for four years at the time.
Joseph was said to be a sound engineer then, and the two had crossed paths in a Brum pub when the television star was on a night out with her mother.
"She was a great wingman and told me to go and chat to the handsome young man," Jessie explained. At the time, the lovebirds, and Birmingham natives, were remodeling a houseboat.
In addition, they share the same faith, as Jessie is a Buddhist. During the interview, she reminisced about her earliest memories of attending meetings with her mom and aunt.
Jessie was instantly drawn by chanting and divulged, "When I was growing up, if I was struggling with something internally, I would chant and I'd feel better."
The "Vanity Fair" star shared that she still did it daily and that Joseph had joined her three months into their relationship. Although the couple seemed to have been together for a while, the actress disclosed marriage and having kids was the last thing on her mind then.
Claudia Jessie's On-Screen Chemistry with Co-star Calam Lynch
Claudia Jessie also has a bond with her on-screen love interest, Calam Lynch, who plays Theo Sharpe in "Bridgerton."
Theo is a printer's apprentice, and they bond through books. More than anything, it was Eloise who got exposed to a whole new world of politics and feminism by Theo.
But the romance was short-lived even before it began as Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) warned Eloise that the ton was discussing her engagements with a lower class member. And so she ended things between her and Theo.
They almost kissed before she stepped back and decided to tell him they could not see each other again. In a March 2022 interview, Jessie talked about her relationship with Theo and said she would be delighted if they were to get back together:
“Calam was great. He was really beautiful to work with. [..] I'd love it if Eloise could just change the mold a bit. And just have a boyfriend. [..] I'd love if Eloise could just be like, 'Oh yeah, I'm dating this guy, Theo Sharpe, pretty cool."
In the "Bridgerton" books, Eloise reportedly ends up with someone other than Theo. When asked if she would want Theo to be her happily ever after on the show, Jessie, who previously appeared on "WPC 56," said:
"It'd be quite cool to just see her date. She could just date people. If anyone can get away with it, it's Eloise. Wouldn't it be cool to see her maybe date someone, and then maybe someone else?"
Lynch on Being Claudia Jessie's On-Screen Love Interest
In an April 2022 interview, Lynch was asked what it was like shooting the almost-kiss scene toward the end of the season in "Bridgerton" Season 2.
He revealed that he and Jessie sincerely believed their characters would share a smooch, only for the director to state otherwise.
Lynch believes that was only a build-up to something else in the future. "They're going to kiss at some point, just not yet," he said.
The British actor reminisced about his stint on the beloved "Bridgerton" series in March 2023. He posted a throwback photo of him and Jessie dressed as their characters on set.
He did the same in April 2022 when he shared a snap of Theo and Eloise in an intense embrace and captioned the post with a blue heart emoji.
In January 2021, Jessie spoke frankly about her relationship with social media and her choice to refrain from using it. The brunette beauty said, "[..] I feel like social media's not for me, and it hasn't been since forever, really."
