Geena Davis is most widely known for her iconic portrayal of the free-spirited Thelma in the 1991 classic "Thelma & Louise." However, the Hollywood icon actually began her career as a model in her early 20s. She then transitioned into acting and garnered her first role in "Tootsie," which catapulted her to co-star in "Beetlejuice."

After discovering her talent in acting, Davis went on to accomplish many great feats in her career. Most notable are her Academy Award wins for "The Accidental Tourist," "Thelma & Louise," and "A League of Their Own."

On May 26 this year, while gracing the cover of a new issue of The New York Times, a flawless-looking Davis stunned fans with how fantastic she still looks at 67. Many fans took to showering the star with compliments and praise over how gorgeous she looked in her chic flannel kimono and flair bell-bottom-like blue jeans:

The iconic beauty's style was also applauded, and several fans deemed her a fashionista in her own right. One fan, in particular, spoke to Davis' influence on them wanting to recreate her look by referencing a famous catchphrase from the popular film "Mean Girls":

"I saw Geena Davis wearing a flannel kimono and flair jeans, so I bought a flannel kimono and flair jeans."

Switching gears back to her incredible career, just when it reached its pinnacle, a string of box office plateaus started to diminish the number of roles she would get picked up for. Additionally, like the fate of many accomplished women in Hollywood, the timeless age-obsessed rhetoric in Tinseltown started to impact an aging Davis:

"I guess I thought my career would just go on the way it had. But once I turned 40, I really did feel like I'd ceased to exist in Hollywood. I thought I'd have an older woman's career like Meryl Streep or Jessica Lange did, but not only weren't there roles for me, there weren't any for Meryl either."

Before the brief spell of plateaus, and while her career was at its all-time high, Davis was also involved in a fleet of romantic relationships. Before her fourth husband (who she is no longer to), Davis was married three times. She first wed a restauranteur by the name of Richard Emmolo in 1981; however, the marriage was short-lived, as the ex-couple divorced in 1984.

Three years following her first divorce, Davis went on to marry "Jurassic Park" alum Jeff Goldblum in 1987. The duo starred in two movies together—"The Fly," and "Earth Girls Are Easy"—before calling it quits when Davis filed for divorce in 1990, which was then finalized a year later. The "Stuart Little" star's third marriage was to Finnish filmmaker Renny Harlin, and the two tied the knot after five years of courtship in 1993.

The ex-partners also shared a working relationship, with Harlin having directed Davis in two movies— "Cutthroat Island" and "The Long Kiss Goodnight." Although, after speculative assertions that Harlin had cheated on her came to the forefront, Davis filed for divorce in 1997, and it was finalized the following year.

What Geena Davis Said about Her Fourth Husband and Becoming a First-Time Mom at 46

Davis met Iranian-American craniofacial plastic surgeon Reza Jarrahy at a party when he was 27 and she was 42. When Davis encountered him, she reported instantly recognizing a need for a relationship pattern switch. The actress said that prior to meeting Jarrahy, in her past relationships, she found herself involved in a continuous pattern of attempting to fix the other person and devoting her entire self to that person and the connection, sometimes at the expense of herself.

Acknowledging the need for change, Davis admitted that by shifting her perspective, this, in turn, morphed who and what she became attracted to. For her, Jarrahy was utterly different from any other man she had been romantically involved with.

The pair instantly hit it off and began officially dating in 1998. In addition to the difference in personality and connection, another significant difference was the 15-year age gap between the two lovebirds. Davis herself admitted to the gap being somewhat of a feat to get over:

"A relationship with him seemed a little far-fetched. I remember thinking, 'This guy is cute - and ridiculously young,' [and] at first, to be honest, I was just approaching it like something that would be fun... The amazing thing is when we started to spend... more time together, there wasn't anything about our age difference that stuck out."

When they became serious and marriage talks entered the chat, Davis recalled not being hesitant at all. She divulged that though she had asked Jarrahy whether he was sure he knew what he was doing getting married to a woman who had been married three times prior, Davis did not have any doubt in her mind, recalling:

"As for myself, I wasn't nervous at all. I really did feel that I had turned a corner, that I had pulled off changes that were real and permanent."

Davis continued to boast about how exciting it was to be marrying someone who she could be 100% authentically herself with. She said she had discovered an entirely different way to live, free and devoid of judgment.

A year after tying the knot in 2001, Davis became pregnant with their first child and gave birth at 46. The "Quick Change" star was not unnerved about becoming a mother for the first time in her 40s and claimed that it was because she went into motherhood with the knowledge she would not otherwise have known if she had become a young mom.

By the time her firstborn daughter—Alizeh Keshvar Davis Jarrahy—was two, Davis and her then-husband welcomed their twin boys—Kian William and Kaiis Steven Jarrahy. Davis was 48 at the time, and Jarrahy was 33.

After their divorce was finalized in 2021, the ex-couple agreed that their twins' last names would be changed from Davis-Jarrahy to Jarrahy.

Despite taking her first time as a mother in stride, Davis disclosed how daunting becoming a mother for the second and third time felt. She stated:

"My daughter was two when they were born, so that meant three kids under the age of three at home. And I was worried because part of me thought, 'Am I going to be able to love boys as much as I love my little girl?' Of course, I do, and it's been really wonderful, [but] it was overwhelming."

Why Geena Davis Went through Heartbreak with Her Fourth Husband and How Her Children Look Today

After 17 years of marriage, Jarrahy and Davis separated when he legally filed for divorce in May 2018, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause.

According to an inside source, who spoke to Page Six, Jarrahy reportedly wanted to dissolve the marriage through mediation. He wanted to divide their joint assets down the middle and share equal custody of their three children.

The same source stated that Davis allegedly told her ex to lawyer up, as she was of the belief that the two had never been legally married, to begin with. Apparently, Davis had asserted this after Jarrahy made the request to divide the assets on a 50/50 basis.

She alleged that the duo only had a marriage-like ceremony that was never validated by a marriage license. However, Jarrahy's account stipulated that the two were, in fact, legally married, as his father presided over the ceremony and officiated it as a recognized officiant under Islamic law.

According to the Page Six source, though the official documents stipulating the terms of the deal are not open to the public, the proceedings ruled in favor of Davis. Additionally, the source claimed that Jarrahy was so anxious to relieve himself of their marriage that he succumbed to settling on Davis' terms.

The source went on to allege that Jarrahy's focus remained on the well-being of their children, while Davis was more focused on the maintenance of her lifestyle and wealth. In addition to the allegations, the source also claimed that the supposed $1.5 million spent on legal fees nearly left Jarrahy on the brink of bankruptcy while Davis' wealth stayed the same.

After their divorce was finalized in 2021, the ex-couple agreed that their twins' last names would be changed from Davis-Jarrahy to Jarrahy. Though Davis and Jarrahy may not be an item anymore, the two remain devoted to being the best parents to their three children.

Doting dad Jarrahy is specifically proud to show his love to his children on his Instagram feed. On many occasions, he posts an array of pictures of his children, who have now grown into their late teens and early twenties.

From birthday posts to just-because-he-loves-them posts, Jarrahy never misses an opportunity to boast about how much he adores his kids. One particularly adorable post was when he celebrated the birthday of his twins with a caption that read:

"19 years! It's been 19 thousand headaches and 19 billion joys. So much love and pride for these boys #lovemyboys #prouddad #wheredidthetimego."

Unfortunately, the man Davis thought would be the one she really did turn the corner with ended up not being the one for her. However, after the somewhat battlefield of a divorce, she made it through to the other side thriving and stunning the world with how fabulous she continues to look to this day. Though the custody agreement remains confidential, both parents remain committed to raising their children.
