The announcement was made on the fourth death anniversary of his wife, Beth Chapman, who tragically passed away after a long battle with stage 2 throat cancer. She died in June 2019 at 51 years old.

Duane has a total of 13 kids, with Jon being the latest addition to the family. On June 26, Duane took to his Instagram to post about Jon.

The eccentric TV personality posted a picture of Jon standing next to his wife, a woman named Jodi. In the caption, Duane detailed the following:

"For the last four years, this day was a terrible reminder of one of the greatest losses of my life. But God redeemed this day when I discovered my son Jon, who I just met recently, was born on this day. So now, instead of sorrow, this day has a new meaning... Happy birthday son; love you both."

As soon as fans caught wind of the news, many of them commented about how much Jon is the spitting image of his father. One Instagram user even went so far as to say:

"He's your twin."

Duane Chapman Got Engaged to a New Woman Only 10 Months after Beth Chapman's Demise

After suffering tragic loss when Beth sadly passed away, Duane thought he would never find love again. In fact, there was a time back in 2019 when he professed to ET that he would never marry again. However, just ten months after Beth passed, news of him getting engaged made headlines.

In May 2020, Duane proposed to Francie Frane in Colorado. Like her husband, Duane, Francie lost her former husband to cancer only six months before Duane lost Beth, so the pair bonded over their mutual loss.

The 24-year-old [Bonnie] asserted that Francie had told her that she and her sister were not invited to her wedding because of their support for the Black Lives Matter protests via "The System."

Before the big day, while sitting down with ET's Kevin Frazier, the couple spoke about their plans to honor their deceased loved ones in their vows. Francie made it a point to address how both she and Duane make an avid effort to commemorate their spouses every day:

"Throughout our life together, we will continue to do that. They will be a part of that always."

During the segment, wedding plans entered the conversation, and Francie quipped that her lavish wedding gown adorned more jewels than she ever foresaw herself wearing. Additionally, the wedding cake was a composite of two different flavor profiles to account for the couple's difference in taste preference.

The grand wedding took place at The Pinery At The Hill estate in Colorado Springs on a Thursday night. A few pictures that captured the event showcased the happy couple sharing a kiss during the reception and posing with guests as the party went on. At one point, a relaxed-looking Duane was seen having a glass of wine and a cigarette as he enjoyed a moment to himself outside.

Though the wedding ended without a hitch, things were entirely different earlier in the day. Allegedly, there were threats about ruining Francie's dress by throwing a can of paint on it, and one guest claimed to have had their tires slashed. This prompted Duane to enlist the services of the Navy SEALS. He also brought guard dogs onto the premises for extra measure.

Additionally, reports have stipulated that a group of vandals had left something that wafted a particularly pungent odor inside the bride and groom's car. Nevertheless, the wedding continued: his sons escorted a tuxedo-clad Duane down the aisle. However, his two daughters, Bonnie and Cecily Chapman, were noticeably absent.

Why Duane Chapman's Daughter Refuses to Talk to Him

Bonnie and her sister Cecily were not invited to their father's wedding. Initially mulling over why they may have been snubbed, they concluded that it must be because they are spitting images of their late mom.

The young ladies asserted that this fact may have scared their dad, so much so that they were left off the guest list. Cecily confirmed that she had attempted to message her father about why she was not invited, to which she never got a response, while Bonnie chose not to confront her dad. A joint statement made by Duane and Francie ahead of their wedding read:

"We love Cecily and Bonnie very much, as we do all of our family. We pray for their health and happiness every day. Beyond this statement, we wish to keep family issues private."

After speaking to TMZ about their qualms about not being invited to Duane's wedding, Bonnie took to social media to share a few choice words about her father. In her statement, Bonnie accused Duane of being racist and homophobic and called him out for his alleged infidelity while married to her late mom.

The 24-year-old asserted that Francie had told her that she and her sister were not invited to her wedding because of their support for the Black Lives Matter protests via "The System." Bonnie confirmed her father to be racist:

"I'm sorry, but I can't defend my Dad's racism. When it comes to 'The System' on UnleashedTV, my father was fired by the platform for using racial and homophobic epithets toward my fellow cast members on the show... I have expressed time and time again my ever-growing disappointment in my father's progression into his old racist ways."

Representatives of Duane and Francie denied Bonnie's claims and stated that it was merely a tactic to dismantle the wedding plans. They went further to express that Bonnie and Cecily have been brainwashed by enemies of Duane who seek to ruin his reputation. Bonnie went further to say:

"I had forgiven my father after my mother's death for countless actions that I shouldn't have. He would cheat on my mom all the time, and I hated him every time he did it, but I forgave him for that because I wanted a relationship with my dad."

Bonnie has justified her claims and allegations against her dad as her standing by the legacy and memory of her mom, who would want her to speak up against anything wrong. The Chapman family has continued to deny the assertions, and Bonnie and Duane continue to lead their lives without speaking to one another.
