Marie Osmond and her husband, Steve Craig, have a unique love story. The couple have one child together, Stephen James Craig, born in 1983.
Osmond and Craig got married and divorced after having their son. However, they found their way back to each other, remarried, and have remained in love.
On June 26, 2023, Osmond shared a beautiful picture of herself in a wedding gown as she celebrated the day the pair got married for the first time. She captioned the post:
"41 years ago today, I married Steve for the first time!🥰 I'm so grateful that we found each other again!!! I truly am in love with my best friend!!!💖💕."
Osmond first married her husband when she was 22 and then remarried him when she was 51. Their son, Stephen, helped them get back together.
Osmond's and Craig's Unique Love Story
Osmond and Craig got married for the first time 41 years ago on June 26, 1982, in front of 4,000 guests at the Salt Lake Temple in Utah.
In 1984, after the pair had their only child, they announced their separation. The couple's marriage lasted less than three years.
Osmond, who is now in her 60s, said she is much happier than she was in her 50s because she weighs less.
The former television host said she and Craig "had some trouble" in their marriage, but she didn't reveal the issues that led to their divorce.
After her divorce from Craig, Osmond was content living as a single mom as she didn't want to get married again. "I was like, I'm fine, I'm good," she recalled.
However, love soon found the "Let Me In" singer, and she got married again in 1986 to her second husband, Brian Blosil. Blosil and Osmond welcomed seven children together, Jessica, Rachael, Brianna, Brandon, Matthew, Abigail, and late son Michael Brayon, who died in 2010.
Blosil and the singer divorced after 21 years of marriage, and fortunately, Osmond and Craig found their way back to each other. Osmond confessed that their son played a big role in their reunion:
"It was our son who got us to kind of be back together, but (Craig) has been there for me, and he's just my best friend, you know, and loves my kids."
Osmond also gives her father, George Osmond, credit for her reunion with Craig. She noted that she had the courage to reconnect with the love of her life due to her father's beautiful heart.
As per the singer, Craig emulated the way her dad showed love for his wife, Olive Osmond. She revealed that the way her father loved her mom taught her not to settle for less as a woman:
"The way he treated her taught me what it meant to be loyal to someone through good and bad times."
After Osmond and Craig reunited, the singer said she was "in love for the first time in [her] life, like really in love, and it's probably the most beautiful experience I have had."
Osmond and her husband made the decision to remarry after they reconnected and wedded 38 years after their first wedding. They had their second wedding in 2011 in a Mormon Temple in Las Vegas.

The singer made the day extra special by squeezing herself into the wedding dress she wore when she first married Craig. Osmond said wearing the dress felt like the right thing to do but confessed it was not that comfortable to wear, "I can't breathe, but I'm in it."
The Hollywood star had designed a new dress for the second wedding, but when fitting it, she didn't like the final product. However, five days before her second wedding, she was clearing her garage when she spotted the dress she wore at her first wedding.
Osmond managed to get into the dress because she had lost weight over the years. The singer, who was excited about her wedding day, said it was "probably the most beautiful day I have had in I don't remember."

The second wedding day was selected to match the birthday of Osmond's late mother and her late son, who died by suicide. "It was important that both Michael and my mom were with us on this special day," Osmond revealed. After marrying Craig for the second time, the singer said she now felt complete:
"Everything has been perfect, and we just both can't believe it. We're so happy, and you know how you just know when something's right? Yeah… Some things, I guess, were just always meant to be, and time makes you grow up and appreciate things. Life is good, you know?"
The happy couple loves doing simple things when chilling together, such as watching TV as they snack on popcorn, and camping. Osmond admitted that they like being easy and mellow, noting that Craig is her best friend and a really amazing man.
Osmond Lost Weight and Is a Grandmother
Osmond's son Stephen and his wife Claire Blosil got married in 2011. The pair welcomed their first child in 2014, making the former "The Talk" show host a grandmother.
The "Paper Roses" singer announced excitedly on Twitter that she had become a grandmother to a baby boy. She introduced her grandson, Stephen James Craig Jr., on "The Talk" when she was still a television host.
Osmond revealed that Stephen told her she was going to a grandmother over dinner while they were celebrating his 30th birthday.
Stephen took a similar career path as his mother and had experience in acting and singing. In 2003, Stephen released his album "That's What You Get," and in 1989, he featured in the movie "It Nearly Wasn't Christmas."
Osmond is now a grandmother to more grandchildren, as Stephen and his wife have four children. The other three kids are Christian, Maxwell, and Olive. Osmond has a total of eight grandchildren and spends lots of time with them.
In 2019, the singer shared a picture of Craig spending time with their four grandchildren and wrote in part:
"I absolutely love this picture, look at my sweet husband and darling grandkids, and now we have two more on the way! It's so thrilling… I'm so thrilled my kids are married to wonderful people and have started families of their own; there's no greater joy on earth…"
Osmond, who is now in her 60s, said she is much happier than she was in her 50s because she weighs less.
She gained most of her weight when she decided to focus on being a mom. The singer revealed that she later lost 50 pounds and has maintained the weight loss for over 15 years.
The 63-year-old said she used Nutrisystem, a commercial provider of weight loss products and services, to help her lose weight. Now, she has a Five Pound Roll Rule, which means that if she adds weight over five pounds, she begins watching what she eats.
The singer noted that she wouldn't have been able to go on tour if she didn't lose 50 pounds. She also said she felt much younger because when one gets into their older years, weight can quickly age them:
"A healthy body gives you a more vibrant life. Physical weight is tough on the brain, and it's tough on you spiritually, and it also prevents you from moving around."
Now, Osmond, who said she really loves being a grandmother, believes that the most important thing one can have in her life is her family and health.
