Although Trick Daddy's kids include two 20-something-year-olds, one of whom is following in his footsteps, some reports mention eight other children the rapper has yet to acknowledge publicly. He spoke about his eldest kids in his autobiography.

In 2010, alongside writer Peter Bailey, Trick Daddy published his memoir, "Magic City: Trials of a Native Son." The book chronicled several parts of his troubled upbringing, rise to fame, and journey into fatherhood.

Since becoming a father, in addition to his experience as one of 11 siblings, Daddy's perspective on parenting has broadened. His empathy for children raised by single parents, especially single mothers, deepened.

The longtime rapper's childhood was riddled with pain and poverty, and he described it as a time he didn't have much to "smile about." Observing his old community, he realized that that cycle of struggle was continuing.

"Like me, so many kids are growing up with nightmares as opposed to playful memories," he lamented. Witnessing this, Daddy's passion for children growing up with unfit parents or those unfavored by the system grew stronger.

He even started a non-profit organization to help kids with school supplies. He extended that charity to his family, saying he planned to take his nieces to college. But the people Daddy is most protective of are his kids, Imani and Jayden.

Trick Daddy's Kids Were Born Shortly after His Prison Release

In his memoir, Daddy revealed that his first child was conceived the week he was released from jail. He welcomed his daughter, Imani, on October 31, 1995. His son, Jayden, drew his first breath six years later to a different mom on November 16, 2001.

Daddy declared he would "take a bullet" before allowing his kids to suffer the pain he did growing up. He had high hopes for their future, saying he wanted Imani to grow up to be a "strong black woman" and possibly be the next Oprah. As for Jayden, he could be anything he wanted.

Daddy admitted to using corporal punishment with Jayden during his appearance on "Breakfast Club" in April 2022, where he also touched on fellow artists Beyonce and Kat Williams. The father of two said he didn't hit his daughter but managed to keep his son in line this way.

Still, he hoped to teach them both good morals and values. Daddy added that Jayden expressed his gratitude for protecting him. The 21-year-old is following in his father's footsteps as an aspiring rapper. He has an Instagram page where he posts snippets of his life but rarely shares updates.

Trick Daddy Struggled to Keep Up with Child Support Payments

In 2015, Daddy filed for bankruptcy, claiming he had little to no money in his bank account. In addition to owing the IRS nearly $300K, approximately $280K for his first mortgage, and more, he was behind on child support by over $57K.

He filed for bankruptcy again in 2019, listing approximately $800K owed to creditors. Along with these financial struggles, Daddy has been accused of fathering ten kids, including Jayden and Imani. His youngest was reportedly born in 2017; however, he has yet to address the rumors.
