Tina has been left distraught and terrified over what could have possibly happened to her daughter that would cause her disappearance. She has made desperate pleas to the public to help her with any information anyone may have about Katelan's whereabouts. After ten days passed since Katelan was last seen, Tina expressed:
"A week since you went to the fair to hang out with your friends. Then didn't come home; what has happened at the fair? Please message me if you have any information about this; it would at least help to understand why she went away."
