Robert Wagner has had a long-standing acting career and the opportunity to work with various renowned actors. As a way to honor his late wife, Natalie Wood, and other legendary female actors, Wagner wrote a book, "I Loved Her in the Movies: Memories of Hollywood's Legendary Actresses."

In addition to working with Wood, Wagner also saw actresses like Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe in action. But out of all the women he worked with, Wood had the most impact on him.

"When Natalie died, I thought my life was over."

The actor was quiet about the allegations for a while until he broke his silence through his spokesperson. "They are despicable human beings, capitalizing on the accidental death of a beloved member of the Wagner family," said the actor's representative.

When the actress died, Wagner and Wood were on a family yacht and were joined by fellow actor Christopher Walken and the boat captain Dennis Davern.

The statement released by the "It Takes a Thief" star's spokesperson was reportedly directed at Wood's sister, Lana Wood, and Davern for accusing the actor of being involved in the actress' death.

However, the people who always believed in Wagner's innocence were his daughters. Natasha worked on a documentary in honor of her mother titled "Natalie Wood: What Remains Behind."

She said her father did not show any signs of hesitation when she asked him to be part of the documentary and share some of his memories of Wood. In fact, Natasha was proud of how courageous Wagner was throughout the process. The 52-year-old gushed over her father and said:

"I was just so proud of him. I felt like he was so transparent, elegant, gracious, emotional, connected, and present."

Wagner's social media is filled with special moments with his family. The actor shared one video where he celebrated his birthday and expressed how much fun he had spending his big day surrounded by family.

He's also a doting grandfather and does not miss a chance to show off his beautiful grandchildren. Wagner and his daughters have grown their families and maintained a close relationship through the ups and downs they experienced.
