'Where Did Our Little Boy Go?': Steve Doocy Celebrates Son Peter's Birthday with Adorable Throwback Pic

Steve Doocy's son, Peter Doocy, is 36 years old and happily celebrated his birthday with a slice of cake. The American television personality took to Instagram, in honor of his son, a post of a side-by-side throwback and a recent photo.

Steve Doocy has built his name as a television host and news anchor for many years. Still, he remained an excellent father to his son, Peter Doocy.

Recently, Peter celebrated his 36th birthday, and his dad did not pass on the opportunity to happily greet him on social media.

In his Instagram tribute, Steve shared a side-by-side photo of Peter from his 5th birthday party at Chuck E Cheese and his 36th in Tyson's Corner, Virginia. He captioned the post:

"Mr. Doocy is now married, has a baby, and a mortgage, and as such, we celebrated another revolution around the sun with BIRTHDAY CAKE AND BEER!! Where did our little boy go?"

Steve ended his post by telling his son to enjoy his remaining paternity leaves. He also joked that there are 365 days left until Peter gets another free cake from his parents.

Peter became a first-time dad in February 2023, around the same time his sister gave birth, and shared the fantastic news on social media. In June, he celebrated his first Father's Day as the dad of Bridget Doocy. He also commemorated Father's Day by playing a game of pickleball with his dad.

Steve and Peter undoubtedly have a good relationship. The "Fox & Friends" anchor initially thought his son would become a lawyer, but he followed his dad in the media business. Admittedly, Steve was a guiding force in his son's career.

"Every night at dinner, I was just picking his brain about the way to do it and do a good job," Peter revealed. Fortunately, he has learned much and can hold news discussions with Steve. Although Steve is proud of his son, he hopes he and his siblings don't take themselves too seriously.

Steve's wife, Kathy Gerrity, is also on a similar path as a sportscaster. Besides Peter Doocy, they share two daughters, Mary and Sally.
