We Can't Lose This Sweet Angel': Tori Kelly's Fans Show Outpoor of Support as She Is Hospitalized after Collapsing
The mood was somber amongst Tori Kelly's fans as they expressed their concern for the gospel savant after she was rushed to the hospital on Sunday night.
"Please, everybody, keep [Tori Kelly] in your thoughts right now," a fan wrote on X, the social media network formerly known as Twitter, "We can't lose this sweet angel! Let's manifest this: she'll be out of the ICU and then back home very soon, surrounded with love."
Kelly, 30, reportedly experienced an accelerated heart rate when out for dinner with friends in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday night. She collapsed and was "out for a while." Her friends took the singer to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. A tabloid source revealed that the situation is "really serious" as doctors found blot clots.
"I won't be able to sleep until I know Tori Kelly is recovering & going to be okay. I don't care if it's days from now," one person said. "2023 better not take Tori Kelly from us," a second wrote.
"Sending love to Tori Kelly & the Tori Kelly Family. She's got this. Ain't no way the Lord is gonna take her home right now," a supporter commented:
"He is NOT done with you yet! We love you so much, Tori!"
"Tori Kelly is more than just a singer to us she's an inspiration, our best friend. She has saved us in so many ways possible and all we want right now is for her to be okay," another wrote. Throughout July, the singer promoted her new EP, "Tori," scheduled to be released this Friday.
Tori Kelly and her German basketball player husband, André Murillo, celebrated their fifth anniversary in May. Their relationship is grounded in their Christian faith. The devout couple do not have children yet, but they do have a dog, Froddo, on which they dote.
