Brittney Griner's Siblings Are Not into Sports but Are Proud Supporters of Her Life & Career

DeCarlo is Brittney's oldest sibling. He is 17 years older than the basketball star. His current profession remains unknown, but his Facebook profile states that he graduated from Nimitz Senior High School in 1990.

DeCarlo is a single man and a proud father of one child, Sydney Alyse Griner, whom he affectionately calls his "princess." Just as he shows his love for his daughter, he doesn't hesitate to express affection for his sister, Brittney.

In 2022, he sent his birthday wishes to Brittney through Facebook, even though he could not see or hear her voice. His message came when his sister faced detainment in Russia, making it one of the "most difficult days" of his life.

In his post, DeCarlo expressed his emotions, declaring his love and support for his little sister, eagerly looking forward to the day she would return. He also fervently prayed for her swift return home.

He is also close to his two sisters, Pleshette and SheKera. In 2021, he fondly wrote on Facebook that Pleshette has always been there for him when he needs "a joke & a bottle," while he noted SheKera as his "best friend."

Pleshette, also known as Pier, is five years older than Brittney. She frequently posts content about her famous sibling on her Facebook page, highlighting their close bond. However, this wasn't always the case.

Brittney revealed that the two could not be more different. Pier was a total girly girl, while Brittney was always known for having a "rough and tumble" personality.

In her memoir, Brittney also spoke about her relationship with Pleshette.

Meanwhile, SheKera, ten years older than Brittney, is the most private among the four siblings. Despite her privacy, she shared two noteworthy posts about her sister last year.

First, SheKera shared a screenshot from one of Brittney's coach's social media accounts. The coach had plans to visit the White House and address the athlete's wrongful detention in Russia.

For the second time, SheKera released a public statement on behalf of the Griner family, passionately urging President Joe Biden's administration to take every possible measure to bring her sister back home.
