'He Was a One Off': Angus Cloud Is Remembered and Mourned by His 'Euphoria' Family
Angus Cloud, 25, died a week after his father was buried. His family and "Euphoria" cast mates remembered the young star for his talent, humor, and gentle soul.
"It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today," Angus Cloud's family wrote in a statement. "As an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways."
"Rest easy, brother," Javon Walton, who portrayed his younger brother "Euphoria," wrote with a photo of them embracing. In his Instagram Stories, he posted another snap with his TV sibling captioned, "Forever family."

Cloud had struggled "intensely" with the recent death of his dad, who was his best friend. His family found comfort that father and son could be together again.
She praised his "truthful" acting in every take.
Lukas Gage did one of the early tributes by uploading a photo of the young cast hanging out. "Rip @anguscloud," he added with a broken heart emoji. "Rest easy, Angus," he also commented on the late star's final Instagram post from a week ago.

"He was a one-off. I'm truly sad," Eric Dane posted in his Stories with a closeup photo of the actor. Cloud died on Monday at his family's home in Oakland, California. His cause of death has not been confirmed.
"There was no one quite like Angus," Euphoria creator Sam Levinson echoed in a statement. "He was too special, too talented, and way too young to leave us so soon." He continued:
"He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knew how many hearts he touched. I loved him. I always will. Rest in peace, and God Bless his family."

"He was kind and gracious and so unique," Paula Marshall said. "You couldn't take your eyes off him, on film or on set." She praised his "truthful" acting in every take and felt lucky to have witnessed it. She added:
"My heart hurts."
Storm Reid shared a clip on Stories of a tender scene between Cloud's Fezco O'Neill and Maude Apatow, as Lexi Howard captioned, "The tears won't stop."
Cloud portrayed a drug dealer on the edgy HBO teen series, having been scouted for the part from the street. In the last season, Fezco is jailed. Due to the dual writers and actors strike, there would not be any new "Euphoria" episodes until 2025.
