Mom Thanks Boyfriend for Getting Her Pregnant Every Year & Explains Why
A pregnant mother of two confirmed that she and her husband would be trying for more children as they wanted to expand their family far beyond what they had. The reason shocked social media users.
A social media influencer named Chantel Schnider, better known for being the mother of the TikTok famous Alexander Family, recently shared a video about her partner that caused mixed opinions online.
In the video, a pregnant Schnider is seen dancing alongside her partner as she feeds him candy and he holds their two young children. It was the caption of the video that gained the most attention.
While Schnider already has two children and is expecting her third, she has no plans of stopping anytime soon. Instead, she and her partner have decided that they want to have eight to ten children.
The family has built a large social media following over the past couple of years, with a shared TikTok handle and individual Instagram pages for Schinder and her partner, which have a large following.
Schnider posts family-oriented videos, including relatable content about being a mother, promotional content for family-friendly products, and funny videos about being pregnant often.
While her videos are usually well-received on all her platforms by people from all walks of life, a recent video has sparked controversy as it has divided the family's fans and caused a debate about birth control in Schnider's comment section.
Why Did The Video Gain So Much Attention?
Nothing seems amiss in the video where Schnider dances as she feeds her husband candy. However, the caption attracted many people and caused mixed reactions.

In the video, the family stands in their home with Schnider's partner holding their two young children, barely toddlers. Schinder appears heavily pregnant in the video but dances and rubs her baby bump nonetheless.
The video is set to audio that says, "And my man, thank you to my man." Schnider captioned it: "When he gets you pregnant every year so you don't have to deal with a period." Schnider's partner danced along in the video and looked happy.
The video received over 200,000 likes, and many people commented on it. Some thought she was brilliant for avoiding her monthly cycle by being pregnant each year, and some considered her husband "Superman" for getting her pregnant each year.
Others shared similar experiences, saying they had also welcomed children for many consecutive years and wanted to thank their partners for impregnating them year after year. Many shared the number child they were on and talked about their gratitude.
Not Everyone Supported Schinder
While some supported Schnider, some people could not believe that Schinder was using being pregnant to avoid her menstrual cycle and suggested that she try birth control instead. One person said:
"I hope this a joke 'cause that [is] a horrible reason to have kids."
Many people told Schnider that she should not be proud of contributing to the world's overpopulation issue, and others told her they would rather deal with a five-day period than nine months of complicated pregnancy. Another person said that even if the video was a joke, it was not funny.
Each time someone suggested that the mom of three take birth control, she replied that she didn't plan to do so. Instead, Schnider and her partner had decided that they would have eight to ten children, and she would not go on birth control, so this was possible for them. She proudly shared this information on social media.
Schinder admitted that her pregnancies had been complicated but that she would not stop becoming pregnant. She then gave her reason for being pregnant constantly, saying:
"My pregnancies are absolutely miserable, but somehow I'd still rather be pregnant than [have] a period."
Schinder and her partner's decision has divided the internet, with some in full support of their choices and how they build their family and others thinking they are irresponsible. Many commenters said Schnider should be left alone if she and her family were happy. That was all that mattered.
