Boss Unjustly Fires Man after 10 Years – Man’s Children Find Out
When a man was unjustly fired from work one day, his children were furious upon learning about it. They had seen their father work tirelessly to serve the company, so the unfair termination made them devise a revenge plan.
A man moved to a new country as an immigrant with his wife and one child and later had more kids. As an outsider in a new country, the man gave his best at work, unaware that things would take an unexpected turn years later.
One of his children opened up on Reddit about his struggles, stating that he started working at a transportation company when he was 35. The Redditor said they grew up watching their father work over 10 hours every day, and sometimes 13 hours a day. The man barely got time to spend with his wife and kids after work.

According to the man's child, his employer had burdened him with extra work. He drove on a long route two out of four weeks a month, which was against the company's rules because at least three employees were supposed to take that route and share the workload.
However, the man did what his employer said, unaware that he would soon get fired for a petty reason. He had no idea that all his hard work of about a decade wouldn't stop his boss from terminating him.
Why Did the Man Get Fired?
Before jumping to the main story, the Redditor shared that their father recently bought a secondhand car. Upon driving the car after buying it, the man realized that some things in the car needed to be fixed, so he sent it to a local workshop.

Upon inspecting the car, the mechanic asked the man to buy some automobile parts to fix the issue. The man realized that the fault in his car could also be fixed at home, so he took his car back and solved the problem himself.
However, he returned to the car workshop a few days later with another fault and left his car there. When he got it back, he was furious to see two long scratches at the back of the vehicle.
A few days later, the man returned to the workshop with his son to complain about their poor service. Since the man did not have time because of his busy work schedule, he visited the workshop in his uniform before going to work. Little did he know that wearing the uniform at the workshop would get him into trouble.

The man asked the workshop employee for a refund, saying he would file an official complaint regarding their poor services otherwise. The employee refused and soon flew into a rage, pushing the man and hitting him on the head. The Redditor said:
"My dad did nothing other than rightfully expressing his annoyance at the poor service."
After the unexpected incident at the workshop, the man went to work as usual, unaware of the surprise waiting for him there. He returned home later that day with a termination letter in his hands.
When the Redditor learned about the termination, they thought their father was joking. The man told his children, "It (the termination) was because the employer got physical with me while I was wearing the work attire with its logo, and instead, I could have gone there after work."

The man's children were furious upon learning why their father got fired. They believed their father's boss was wrong to hold him accountable for someone else's actions. At that point, the children decided to take revenge because they had seen their father work hard for their boss, who conveniently kicked him out of the office for such a petty reason.
What Did His Children Do to Take Revenge?
One of the man's sons approached a local newspaper, telling them he had an interesting story about a workshop employee being friends with his father's boss. The son also went to the workshop and threatened them to return his father's money. He threatened to tell the newspaper to publish the story otherwise.

Meanwhile, the other brother requested his online friends to post a 1-star review on the workshop's public page on the internet. According to the Redditor, the workshop had worked hard for ten years to get 5/5 stars on their online page, but after telling friends to give them poor reviews, they had dropped down to a rating of 2.9 in just mere days.
Soon after the workshop's online presence was ruined, their employees begged the man's son to take down the reviews, saying they would fix the car for free. They were desperate to get the negative reviews down from their website.

Meanwhile, the man's ex-boss kept calling him, but he didn't answer. Instead, he sent a message stating he was busy, to which the boss asked him to call him back when free. Moreover, the man never submitted nor signed the termination letter, which must have caused inconvenience to the employer.

The Redditor added that her father said he would return to work only if his boss accepted his terms and didn't ask him to work overtime. He also planned to ask for a handsome salary because he had been underpaid for the ten years he worked there.
