Sol Xochitl Was Liked by Mike Tyson & She Was a Fitness Freak
Sol Xochitl is one of former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson's former flames. The pair dated for some time, bonding over their love for fitness, and had two children. Sadly, one of their kids died in a tragic accident.
In 2013, Mike Tyson released a memoir, co-written by Larry Sloman, titled "Undisputed Truth." As he touched on various aspects of his life, the boxing legend spoke about his relationship with Sol Xochitl, whom he called Shelley.
Sol Xochitl and Mike Tyson met at a strip club in Phoenix, Arizona. They began a romantic relationship, eventually welcoming their son, Miguel Tyson, and their daughter, Exodus Tyson. However, it's unknown when they separated.

Mike Tyson 'Really Liked' Sol Xochitl
Sol and Mike spent plenty of time together. Mike shared that they "did a lot of stuff" together, but most notably, they stayed in shape alongside one another. "She was a fitness freak, so when I'd work out and go run, she'd run with me," he said.
But Sol "always one-upped" Mike; if he ran five miles, she would run ten. The athlete recalled one session when he and his assistant at the time were throwing around a 15-pound medicine ball, and Sol joined them.
Sol wore Mike down after 250 throws and continued with his assistant, whom she also tired out. "This 90-pound Mexican chick must've done five hundred throws," Mike remarked. Still, "I really liked Shelley," he said, adding that she kept her home "immaculate."

Sol Xochitl Cared about Making Mike Tyson Happy
Mike shared that Sol tried to make their relationship work. She often sought advice and tips on how to keep him happy. When she got pregnant with their first child, Miguel, Mike was broke and in debt.
He worried about how he would provide for his son. He said Sol kept saying she would get an abortion but never did. Miguel was born in 2002. A few years after his arrival, Sol welcomed Exodus.

The Death of Sol Xochitl and Mike Tyson's Daughter
In late May 2009, news emerged that then-four-year-old Exodus was hospitalized and in critical condition following an injury caused by the power cable of a treadmill at home. Her brother found her with the cord around her neck and called his mother for help.
Sol rushed to her daughter's aid, removed the cable, and called 911. She performed CPR, but when authorities arrived, Exodus needed life support. Sadly, it wasn't enough to keep her alive, and she died. Her father said she had a funeral "worthy of a dignitary."

Mike and Sol received much support, as Exodus's hospital bills and funeral expenses, which amounted to $200,000, were paid for with donations. After the funeral, Mike stayed in Phoenix for a few days before driving back to Las Vegas.
He took Miguel with him as he saw how Sol struggled with their daughter's death. A month later, Mike married his third wife, Lakiha Spicer. In addition to Miguel Leon Tyson, he has been a doting father to Mikey Lorna Tyson, Rayna Tyson, and others.
Miguel has frequently made public appearances with his dad over the years. He took an interest in boxing, as his dad showed in 2018, though only as a means to stay fit. As for his mom, she has lived privately, as little beyond her daughter's passing is known about her life.
