Woman Wants to Ban Husband from Attending Baby Shower & Birth of Their Child – She Explains Her Decision

After seeing her husband's reaction to the gender of their baby, a woman decided that she didn't want him to attend the baby shower or the baby's birth. However, she needed to find out if she was in the wrong.

A 28-year-old woman told her 29-year-old husband she was pregnant again when their daughter was three. She was excited that they would have another baby, and he seemed happy, too.

However, their issues arose when she noticed his reaction to their baby differed when she told him about the gender. The woman initially told her husband their second baby was also a girl.

"My husband and I have a daughter, he was happy when I told him she was a girl. We're having another and when I had my ultrasound, I was told it was another girl, again my husband was happy. Turns out I was told wrong."

When the woman found that her doctor had mistaken the baby's gender the first time, she told her husband that they weren't having another girl and would welcome a little boy into their family.

He was content when the woman told her husband they were having a girl at first. This completely contrasts how the man reacted when he discovered he would have a son.

After the man phoned all his friends and family and told them he would have a boy, the woman was horrified. She noted that her husband's reaction differed significantly from when she told him they were having a girl. The woman said:

"I confronted him about not being this excited about having girls, and he said 'cause I wanted a boy.'"

The woman then decided that because of the way the man had reacted to her having a boy, she didn't want him at the baby shower or the little boy's birth. Her husband thought she was joking at first but soon found that she was serious.
