After Colleen shared a video of her weight loss journey on social media, she also shared three tips that helped her lose and keep weight off. However, her methods were far different from what people usually do to lose weight and build muscle.

While most people would go to the gym, Colleen disliked that idea and never left her bed. Although her methods were unconventional, they helped her lose weight and feel better about herself, and she wanted to help others do the same, so she shared two videos showing people what to do.

What Were Colleen's Tips?

Colleen's first tip was to act like you are in a movie while eating. She said acting like she was in a film and was enjoying an expensive meal forced her to take her time on the food and truly appreciate it.

Colleen also noted that when she ate slower, she knew when she was full to stop eating. The TikToker admitted that in the past, she would eat too quickly and, therefore, too much before she started doing this.

Her second tip was to reward yourself. She advised that throughout your weight loss journey, you should reward yourself for every small goal and said you shouldn't only reward yourself once you've reached your final weight goal.

The young woman shared that she would reward herself with small things throughout her weight loss journey but tried to ensure that the rewards weren't food-related because she felt that was unhealthy.

The last tip Colleen gave was something that most people on a fitness or weight loss journey advise, but she had a different way of going about things. She urged her viewers to move their bodies and said that she hated the idea so much that she did her exercise in bed. She shared:

"I will also do these bed workouts because I'm lazy!"

Colleen admitted that the thought of getting out of bed and putting on workout clothes and shoes was not something she wanted to do. So, instead, she stayed in bed and completed her workout there.

What Are Colleen's Bed Workouts?

Colleen received many questions on her first video about exercising in bed, with many viewers saying they felt the same way she did about getting up and going to the gym. So, she created another video in response.

Colleen told her viewers that she didn't have a set amount of reps for each of the eight exercises she performed and instead counted arbitrary numbers until her muscles were so sore that she couldn't do them anymore.

Her first exercise was donkey kicks, performed with the person on their hands and knees, lifting one foot to the ceiling at a time. Once one leg is complete, the person can switch to the next.

She also mentioned doing leg lift crossovers, performed by extending your leg out behind you while on your hands and knees and then lifting the leg and crossing it over to the other side.

Colleen also performed scissor kicks, which are done laying on your back, lifting your legs, and then crossing them over one another, performing a scissor-like motion in the air, about six inches off the surface you're on.

Colleen then took a break between those workouts and followed it with the side leg lifts. This exercise involves laying on your side and lifting your top leg to the sky.

The young woman then does elbow crunches, which she admitted were her least favorite. These are performed lying on your back in a crunch position and bringing your opposite elbow to your opposite knee.

Colleen then shared a "weight break" in which she jokingly lifted small pink weights with her back to the camera before going into her next exercise. The final part of her exercise routine is hip thrusts, performed with your upper back on the floor, lifting your lower back and hips to the ceiling.

Colleen performed all these exercises on her bed, in comfortable clothes, and beside her dog. She then shared:

"These workouts really do only fall under the 'something is better than nothing' category."
