During the conversation, Paltrow spoke about how she plans on making her exit from the public eye. However, she also mentioned that though she plans on "literally disappearing" from public life, when it comes to her booming business, the founder of Goop is not quite ready to sell her company just yet.

Apart from building a track record of success as an entrepreneur, Paltrow is also a loving wife and a doting mom of kids she shares with her ex-husband, Chris Martin. When the topic of divorce came up, Paltrow explained how both she and Martin handled the divorce in a way that would not traumatize their children:

"...We knew that it would be hard, of course, but we didn't want them to ever feel in the middle...I did this data collection of talking to adults who had been products of a broken home. Every single one of them said, 'I didn't care that my parents got divorced...But the fact that they wouldn't speak to each other...''"

Paltrow finished her statement by drawing the opinions she had heard back to her own situation with Martin and said that after that, she decided she would never not speak to the father of her children. The former couple have remained friendly ever since their divorce.

Although the star, who turned 51 last month, had many insightful things to say in the interview, what stunned many was not so much what she had to say as so much as what she wore for the cover. The "Sliding Doors" talent dazzled in a sultry sheer red body stocking, which accentuated her svelt figure, and fans sang her praises:

"Gwyneth looks great..."

Gwyneth Paltrow Shared Some Words about Aging

Some look at Paltrow as one of the prototypes for giving advice on aging gracefully. She has shared her perspective on the concept as a whole and spoke about how her mindset on the topic has changed over the years. In the same interview where she stunned in the sheer red outfit, Paltrow disclosed how jarring turning 40 was for her.

She admitted that the somewhat initial discomfort she experienced when she noticed the tell-tale signs of aging stemmed from the tendency many have to think they are able to remain impervious to aging. While speaking on the matter, she divulged:

"I am constantly in an exercise of embracing where I am and also embracing this painful thing of not being young and beautiful..."

However, when asked whether or not she compares herself to other women in her age bracket, Paltrow said she does not. She mentioned a pact she made with herself never to do that because all it does is lead one down a slippery slope of depression.

Paltrow also briefly highlighted how her loving husband has helped strengthen her sense of security when doing something so simple as walking into a room where one may be burdened by the male gaze. Though she jokes here and there about being "old," Paltrow is still a big advocate for embracing the process of aging and allowing one to be oneself.

She also previously spoke about how the tendency for women to feel insecure about aging is rooted in how society judges them more harshly than men and the unrealistic beauty standards and expectations that are placed upon women within society.
