Maria Bartiromo Has No Children & Hopes She Won't Regret It at Some Point in Her Life
Maria Bartiromo is a career-oriented woman who also happens to be someone's wife. Moreover, she is also an animal lover, as she took in a misplaced pet dog several years ago.
Maria Bartiromo has only been married once in her life thus far and has no children. However, she once planned on starting an initiative that involved kids, but things panned out differently.
The New York native has previously openly talked about not being a parent over the years and explained that choosing not to become a parent was a choice she made. Bartiromo has also commented on whether women can have it all as financially independent individuals and still be able to run their households, making an example of her sister.

Maria Bartiromo Says Not Having Kids Is a Choice She Made
In October 2012, the financial journalist appeared on "Gen Connect" and was interviewed by NBC's Andrea Mitchell, who asked if women could do it all. She answered:
"I would like to believe that women can do it all."
Mitchell chimed in and said they are not mothers because they've made sacrifices, and Bartiromo interjected, saying, "My sister is a nurse, a very successful nurse at it, and she has three children."
The author further explained that although she finds it difficult to comment on the subject because she is not a mom, she believes it can be done. Bartiromo discussed her opinion on not having kids:
"I think from my standpoint, I don't look at it as I've made sacrifices. [...] I've made choices to do what I love. […] I have been happy; I hope I don't have regrets for not having children at some point."
The Gracie Award winner has stressed the importance of being financially independent and believes the teachings should start in the households. She previously disclosed what she initially planned on doing with her life.
In December 2017, Bartiromo revealed that she wanted to start a company that teaches children about money. However, she was not willing to leave her day job to do it.
Maria Bartiromo Is Married to a CEO – Get To Know Her Spouse
With her compassion for children, Bartiromo also adores her husband, Jonathan Steinberg. The couple wed in June 1999 at the home of the bridegroom's father and stepmother.

The news anchor kept her last name after getting married to the son of a billionaire. At the time of the lovebirds' nuptials, Steinberg was the chief executive of Individual Investor Group, a financial media company based in Manhattan.
Steinberg currently serves as the CEO of WisdomTree, which he founded in October 1988. The businessman is also a President and a Member of the Board of Directors at the company.
Inside Maria Bartiromo's Marriage
Although Steinberg and Bartiromo do not have children together, they are dog parents. They have a pup named Dusty, whom the CNBC star has shown off on social media.
Bartiromo posted a photo of the dog on Instagram in July 2021, and the snapshot showed Dusty resting on a lawn while looking at the camera. Dusty even has her own Instagram page with over 4k followers.
Bartiromo revealed in a February 2022 Instagram post that she and Steinberg took in Dusty after being displaced in Hurricane Harvey and considers herself lucky to have her.
In addition to caring for Dusty, the "Fox News" star, whose colleague is Neil Cavuto, is a workaholic. She divulged in a December 2020 interview that her husband even joked about writing a book about how she is always on the phone because of work.
However, once the couple eventually gets to spend time together, they partake in activities such as biking, hiking vacations, and walking on the beach on weekends.
It seems the 56-year-old two-time Emmy Award winner has managed to secure balance in her life as although she works hard, she still has time to unwind through self-care techniques.
