Anthony Hopkins, 85, & His Silver-Haired Wife Defy Their Ages in Classy Outfits in Recent Outing

Film icon Anthony Hopkins appeared alongside his wife of two decades, Stella Arroyave, at an event recently. The couple attended an art exhibition in support of a friend.

Anthony and Stella dressed up for the opening of Sami Hayek's art exhibit on November 3, 2023, in Los Angeles. Sami, who is actress Salma Hayek's brother, showed off his works of art at the event hosted by Christie's in Beverly Hills.

Anthony, 85, whose spouse once described him as a "private man," donned a navy-blue checked suit blazer with a matching unbuttoned shirt and a pair of navy-blue jeans, which enhanced his youthful appearance.

The award-winning actor appeared alongside his wife, Stella, 67, who stunned in a chic all-black outfit with a matching purse and shoes. The actress accessorized with large, black, thickly framed glasses.

The couple posed for photos during the said event titled "Frequency," both solo and with the artist, including his famous sister Salma, brother-in-law billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, and actress Demi Moore.

Salma and Anthony go way back. She supported him when he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2003 – the same year he married Stella.

Inside Anthony & Stella's Marriage

Anthony and Stella crossed paths in 2001 when he entered her antique and fine art store. In a 2009 interview, the Academy Award winner recalled when he met his beloved spouse. He revealed that he had been going through a dark period in his life, "dealing with slight depression" and trust issues, adding:

"[...] I married a remarkable woman who has changed a lot of my perceptions about myself and life."

Stella also gushed about her famous husband, saying his voice is "delicious," one of the things that attracted her to him. Anthony is a romantic, as he divulged in a January 2011 interview:

"I'm always buying gifts and flowers for my wife. She appreciates that, and then I get rewards. She makes me breakfast and brings it to me when I'm in bed."

Anthony further shared that he and his beautiful wife, whom he wed in March 2003, have much in common, including a love for country-western music from artists such as Dolly Parton.

Moreover, the lovebirds are "driven people" who prefer being active, Anthony said in a 2020 interview. In addition, the "Red Star" and the director are compassionate individuals who constantly spread kindness, "We help where we can," Anthony explained.

In the same interview, Stella added that she and her love express gratitude daily for being healthy and alive. They care for their loved ones and are appreciative of their presence in their life.

"Like Tony says, 'We're all fighting a great battle,'" said the Colombian native. Stella also explained that she and Anthony do not consider their projects as work. "It's not work when you do what you love," she said," adding the couple also enjoys meeting art collectors. The two have been married for twenty years.
