Peter White of 'All My Children' Has Passed Away amid Health Battle with No Wife & Kids
Actor Peter White has passed away aged 86. The actor was best known for his role in "All My Children." His co-start Kathleen Noone announced his passing, revealing he died of melanoma.

Peter White, who had a stellar career as an actor, passed away on November 1, 2023. Born on October 10, 1937, White graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Communications in 1959.
He furthered his education by studying acting and earned his Master's degree at the Yale School of Drama. After starting on Broadway, his TV career began in the 1970s. By the middle of the decade, he landed the role of Lincoln "Linc" Tyler on "All My Children," which became one of his most prolific roles.

He also starred in other fan-favorite soaps, like "Dynasty," "Dallas," "Knots Landing," and "Falcon Crest." His movie career was equally successful with "The Pursuit of Happiness," "Armageddon," "First Daughter," and more. White's "All My Children" co-star, Kathleen Noone, announced his passing. She shared:
"I wanted you to know that Peter White, who played Linc, Phoebe's, Ruth Warrick's son, died today from Melanoma."

According to Noone, White had died in his Los Angeles home after battling the most aggressive form of skin cancer. He had no wife, nor did he have any children.
The actor found family in his "All My Children" castmates. He always saw them as more than his colleagues, once admitting that they "became instant family and have been ever since."

In the later years of his life, he reportedly became an acting coach for those preparing to audition. Peter White will always be remembered for his contributions to society and the world. May he rest in peace.
