The lovebirds went on to welcome their daughter, Daisy, 3. Doting mom Perry referred to motherhood as the best choice she has ever made. In 2022, while speaking to a media outlet on Mother's Day, the pop icon, who talked about the activities she and her daughter got up to on the special day, gushed about being a mom:

"[It's] just the opportunity to see the world again through just like the most beautiful eyes...For a new breath of life to be breathed into everything. It's like you get to be reborn as well."

For Perry, being a mother has a lot to do with recognizing that one's baby becomes the number one priority in their life. While previously expressing how much she has been enjoying motherhood, she noted how she is more interested in her daughter's well-being and happiness than losing post-partum weight. Additionally, she also emphasized the life-changing responsibility of being a mom.

Of her little girl whose eyes get big when she sees her mom all dolled up for her performances, Perry shared that Daisy is a good combination of both her parents. The musician spoke about Daisy, and mentioned:

"Daisy is great...we are fearless with lots of chutzpah and just big characters. So the combination of us both is definitely coming out."

Footage of Perry's three-year-old watching her mom in the crowd, dressed in a cute red and white polka-dot dress and protective headphones, surfaced online. While on stage, Perry tells her daughter how much she loves her, calls her her best friend, and dedicates a song to her.

Upon seeing the blonde little girl in the video, Perry's fans could not stop gushing over how adorable Daisy is. One fan commented:
