After the news of his death, actress Ava DuVernay paid tribute to her fallen colleague. "Taraja. We'd talk about art and his family. My goodness, did he love his children. A happy, whole love. Beautiful to behold. He loved making movies and TV too," she wrote.

His friends and family are publicly mourning this devastating loss. His long-time pal Tony Tony Tucci broke down when he first heard the news. "He was always a family man," he said of his late friend.

Taraja's mom, Akili, also paid tribute to her son on Instagram. She made the painful announcement regarding his and her grandchildren's deaths on Instagram, where people flooded her with sympathies.

"All who knew and met him know how special Taraja was. He had a deep capacity for love and loved his children more than all. He loved his martial arts, motorcycles and all things related to filmmaking."

The grieving mother and grandmother requested continued prayers as she waited for her grandchildren's recovery. She also thanked all those who have supported their family during such a challenging time.

A friend of the Ramsess family created a GoFundMe fundraiser for them as they tried to navigate their loss. The page has garnered over $90,000 from over 1000 donations, with a goal of one day reaching $150,000.

Ramsess and his children will always be deeply remembered by all those who knew them. The world has seen several tragic car crashes in recent months.

Several months ago, Hollywood actor Treat Williams tragically died in a car crash. The suspect of the crash pled not guilty in court and insisted he was the actor's friend.
