Michael Strahan Returns to ‘NFL Sunday' Though Not Yet to ‘GMA’ After 2-Week Absence
Michael Strahan recently appeared in "NFL on Fox," marking his return to the screen after taking a leave to focus on personal matters. However, he has yet to return to his post on "GMA."
Avid watchers of "Good Morning America" would know of Michael Strahan's two-week absence from work due to family matters, which he did not disclose in detail publicly.
Besides the morning news show, he has also been absent from his post as "Fox NFL Sunday's" analyst. However, Strahan is now back and ready to return to his regular grind on the show.

On November 13, 2023, the former football player appeared on the Fox Sports segment, where he was briefly interviewed by a cadet regarding military terms. The interviewer asked Strahan what the term 'punch out' meant, to which he replied in a literal sense. He said:
"Punch out, that means somebody makes you mad [and] you have to calm yourself before you punch them out."

Unfortunately, that was not what the term meant. In the military, punch out refers to the act of being ejected out of an aircraft. Strahan was one of the many Fox NFL members who answered incorrectly. Nonetheless, viewers are happy to see him back on screen.
Strahan appeared in good health as his time off was not to recuperate from a health issue but to deal with "personal family matters."
Besides his time off work, Strahan also took a social media break and has yet to post since October 26, 2023. His last Instagram share was to promote his game show, "The $100,000 Pyramid." Two days before, Strahan shared his cover photo on Sports Business Journal.
Besides his career in the entertainment industry, Michael Strahan is a proud father to four children: Michael Jr., Tanita, and twins Isabella and Sophia.
His elder kids, Michael Jr. and Tanita, were born during his marriage with Wanda Hutchins. Meanwhile, his youngest twins were born during his second marriage to Jean Muggli.
