Elaine Andriejanssen Is Facebook Co-founder Eduardo Saverin's Wife — More about Her

Elaine Andriejanssen married Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saviren in the mid-2010s. Although the couple has always kept their relationship private, Saviren has shared some of the milestones.

Tech mogul Eduardo Saverin rose to prominence as one of the five co-founders of the Facebook company, now known as Meta Platforms. Though a renowned businessman, he is relatively private regarding his personal life.

He has been married to Elaine Andriejanssen for nearly ten years. Andriejanssen has worked in the financial industry since the mid-2000s and now heads an investment company. In addition to being Saverin's wife, she is also the mother of his child.

Elaine Andriejanssen Is a Tufts University Graduate

Andriejanssen studied Quantitative Economics, International Relations, and Entrepreneurship at Tufts University. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in 2006. Soon after, she began working as a Quantitative Research Analyst for Franklin Templeton Investments.

Andriejanssen remained with the company until December 2014. In March 2016, she became the Executive Chairman of EE Capital Pte Ltd. The investment enterprise is based in Andriejanssen's home country, Singapore, where she maintains her position.

Like her husband, she keeps her life mostly hidden from the spotlight. She has a Facebook account (as does her husband); however, her last post (currently) is a profile picture update from 2015. Andriejanssen also has an IG page, but as of this writing, it is private.

Elaine Andriejanssen and Eduardo Saverin Were Engaged in 2014

In a March 2014 Facebook update, Saverin announced that he and Andriejanssen were engaged. "She Said Yes!!! I am engaged to the love of my life. Excited for a life full of adventure, happiness, and health," he gushed.

Above his caption was a photo of himself and Andriejanssen all smiles as they cozied up with a plushy. Andriejanssen laid on her then-soon-to-be husband's shoulder with her hand on his chest, flaunting her engagement band.

A little over a year later, Saverin announced that he and Andriejanssen had tied the knot. The lovebirds wed on June 27, 2015. "I am incredibly happy and thankful to have married the love of my life," he wrote.

Saverin added that he looked forward to building a family with Andriejanssen and contributing their time and resources to bettering the world. "I will wake up every single day of my life with an ingrained smile because of my beautiful, intelligent, and caring wife, Elaine," he concluded.

In a March 2018 post, Saverin celebrated his wife's birthday, revealing they had a son. "Happy birthday to the love of my life and the mother of my incredible son. I will always cherish every moment of every day we spend together, Elaine Andriejanssen. I love you!" he wrote.

Saverin and Andriejanssen have shared little else, if anything, about their child. Instead, they remain publicly active in their work lives. After leaving Facebook, Saverin co-founded the investment company B Capital.

The Harvard graduate also co-runs B Capital but still receives earnings from his stake in Meta Platforms, per Forbes. The company, headed by Mark Zuckerberg, launched a new app, Threads, earlier in 2023. Like Saverin, Zuckerberg is a husband and father.
