In August 2021, Mayim Bialik was officially announced as one of the new hosts for the syndicated game show "Jeopardy!", becoming part of the program's evolving legacy. She was chosen to present the primetime and spinoff series, a role that came with the honor of succeeding the much-revered Alex Trebek.

Upon her appointment, Bialik expressed great excitement and gratitude, remarking, "I couldn't be more thrilled to join the Jeopardy! family." She described her new role as "one of the most exciting and surreal opportunities of my life," capturing the profound personal significance this position held for her.

However, on December 15, 2023, Bialik announced her departure from the iconic quiz show. In a heartfelt message, she said, "Sony has informed me that I will no longer be hosting the syndicated version of Jeopardy!"
