Gypsy Rose Blanchard Is Out of Prison & Seen for the 1st Time While Shopping with Husband
Gypsy Rose Blanchard is out of prison and, for the first time, was seen out while shopping with her husband. Blanchard expressed that she is "ready for freedom," "in love" with her husband, and mentioned her plans to start a family.
This past Thursday, Gypsy Rose Blanchard, 32, was released from Chillicothe Correctional Center and picked up by her husband, Ryan Scott Anderson. After serving eight years in prison, she was let out early at 3:30 a.m.
Gypsy's original sentencing stipulated that she would serve a decade's worth of time in prison due to her involvement in the death of her abusive mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. She was 23 years old at the time.
After her early prison release, Gypsy stepped out in public for the first time. The 32-year-old was seen leaving a hotel by Marriott where she had spent time shortly after gaining her freedom back.
According to a news outlet, she and Anderson had gone out to do some shopping when they were seen carrying various belongings, which included two grocery bags that were filled with snacks, back to their car. Later, Gypsy and her husband stopped by a mall to buy some sneakers.
For her day out, Gypsy adorned a pair of jeans, a two-toned sweatshirt, and socks without shoes before the couple bought shoes. Footage of Gypsy's recent outing was captured by a camera crew who has been following her around to film for a TV docu-series on Lifetime called "The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard."

Before her release, the Munchausen by Proxy ex-convict, who was made to believe she suffered from severe health issues by her mom, spoke about being "ready for freedom" and expressed her desire to start a family with Anderson. Of her relationship with her husband and her plans for the future, Gypsy stated, "We're in love...and I'm going to have kids one day."
Gypsy also mentioned that having kids will come with the difficulty of having to explain to them why their grandmother on their mother's side is not around anymore.
She also said that although Dee Dee did horrible things to her, her mom did not deserve the fate she had been dealt and instead should have been sentenced to prison like Gypsy was.
