A woman shared on TikTok in 2021 that she was getting married in three and a half months. The woman, Colleen Chamblee, who goes by @leeniegirl94, and her fiancée, Tymothy Kane, had a big bridal party but they ensured they picked them carefully so as to avoid drama.
Unfortunately, despite the careful planning and anticipation, one member of the bridal party attempted to sabotage the couple's wedding. This member of the bridal party was married to a friend of Tymothy, Colleen's fiancé.

Tymothy and this friend had been co-workers seven years ago and had become close friends. Colleen's fiancé had even been the best man at the co-worker's wedding twice, as his friend had married this member of the bridal party two times.

The co-worker and his wife were happily married for a while and were blessed with a daughter. However, they decided to separate and later divorced, two years before Colleen and her fiancé began planning their wedding. When the co-worker and his wife were still together, Colleen became friends with the woman.
So, when Colleen and her fiancé got engaged, she made it clear to her friend that her ex-husband would still be formally invited to the wedding. Initially, Colleen's friend was okay with this but then five months before the wedding, she began coming up with excuses as to why her ex-husband shouldn't be invited to the wedding.

Colleen then told her friend that she didn't have to come to the wedding as it was understandable that she didn't want to be in the same place with her ex-husband. She even promised the friend they would remain close even if she didn't attend the wedding or wasn't part of her bridal team anymore.
This compromise didn't satisfy the friend as she still wanted her ex-husband to be officially uninvited to the wedding. Colleen and her fiancé couldn't uninvite the ex-husband as he is Tymothy's friend. Additionally, the ex-husband had legal custody of the pair's daughter on the wedding day, so he had to attend the wedding as the girl was a flower girl.

Upset that Colleen and her fiancé hadn't uninvited her ex-husband, the friend sent a lengthy text to Colleen expressing her disappointment, stating that she couldn't believe they would do this to her despite their supposed friendship.
However, Colleen was taken aback by her friend's words, as she had previously assured her that even if she chose not to attend the wedding, they would still remain friends.

Colleen simply replied with an okay to the message and attempted to let the matter rest. However, her friend persisted, continuing to label them as "horrible friends" and accusing them of "invalidating her feelings."
Despite Colleen and her fiancé's lack of response, the friend sent another extensive message to the group chat. In it, she implored Colleen to reveal a supposed "deep dark secret" to her fiancé, insinuating that their relationship wouldn't survive until the wedding date.

Colleen was perplexed by her friend's accusations, as she and Tymothy were always open and honest with each other. However, she remembered a conversation she and her friend had a few months ago about healthy relationships. During that discussion, Colleen had expressed her belief that love isn't just a fleeting feeling but a conscious choice.
She had mentioned that on some days, even when the romantic spark may not be as strong, partners choose to love each other. This seemingly innocent statement was the only thing Colleen could think of that her friend could twist into a deep dark secret.

Sure enough, her friend later texted her fiancé, falsely claiming that Colleen didn't love him and hadn't loved him for a long time. "She's just marrying you for whatever reason," the friend told Tymothy.
This statement pushed Colleen over the edge, feeling that her friend had finally crossed a line. Despite her anger, Colleen made the decision to calm down and refrain from confronting her friend directly. Instead, she chose to go silent on her.
However, this tactic proved ineffective as the friend persisted, sending private messages to her fiancé, insisting that "he deserves the best" and that Colleen wasn't his best option.

The friend persisted in telling Tymothy that "she cares about him" more than Colleen did, and the fiancé continued to share these messages with Colleen. This persistence infuriated Colleen as she said, "So, not only did she try to come between us, now she’s trying to get at my fiancé!"
Colleen's friend was not only attempting to drive a wedge between them but was also now trying to seduce her fiancé. Colleen had reached her breaking point and finally texted her friend, "Stop. You’re done. Leave us alone."
In response, her friend accused her, saying, "Ooh. You just wanted me out of the way, that's why you broke up our friendship." This statement caught Colleen off guard because she had never viewed her friend as an obstacle between her and her fiancé.

After this interaction, Colleen decided to cut ties with her friend. She asked her to mail in their house key, to which she replied, "I will send the house keys to his house."
Colleen wondered what her friend was up to but knew that she didn't stand a chance of getting her fiancé as she wanted. She also noted that her friend's drama had made her and Tymothy's bond and love grow stronger. The two didn't allow her to come between them.

Colleen clarified that the ex-husband had caused no drama and would be attending the wedding peacefully. Furthermore, he would be bringing their daughter, who was still designated as the flower girl. Additionally, since the ex-husband had custody of their daughter on the wedding day, his ex-wife wouldn't have an opportunity to cause any drama.
TikTokers following on Colleen's story advised her to change her lock and let her friend stay with the key. However, she noted that they were trying to pay for a wedding and changing locks would cost them money that they did not have. Furthermore, by telling the friend to mail back the keys, Colleen wanted to show her that she was no longer welcomed in their lives.

The friend eventually mailed the key back. Unsurprisingly, there was more than the key in the mail, which was only addressed to Colleen's fiancé. The friend has also sent back Colleen's bridal party and flower girl proposal cards. She also mailed back two pictures of Colleen with her fiancé and the friend's daughter.

In the envelope, the friend sent back Colleen and Tymothy's save-the-date cards as well as a trivia for the bride-to-be bridal party, which she wasn't supposed to know about or see. The friend also included the couple's Christmas card and the bridal shower invitation card. The was at the bottom of the envelope.

Colleen later joked that the pettiest thing she has ever taken from an ex after they broke up was a key. She showed off the key while breaking into laughter. At this point, she referred to the woman as her ex-friend.

A year and a half after the incident between Colleen and her friend took place, she came with an update. Colleen shared a video on TikTok in 2022, telling her followers that she and her husband had just celebrated their one-year marriage anniversary.
A few before the celebration, Colleen was at a wedding when she got a friend request on Facebook from her wedding drama friend. Colleen found the friend request weird as she thought the friend had blocked her on Facebook and that she didn’t use the platform much.

Colleen wondered if her friend had sent the request because she wanted to check in on her and find out if she was still married to Tymothy. Wanting to proceed cautiously, Colleen decided to text her husband and ask for his opinion on whether she should accept the friend request.

Tymothy suggested that Colleen wait, considering the possibility that the request could be spam. After a day of deliberation, Colleen decided to accept the friend request.
Upon browsing through her friend's page, she discovered that she was the friend's only connection. Additionally, Colleen noticed that her friend had changed her last name and updated her profile picture and information to reflect her new location, which Colleen already knew about.

Colleen found it odd that she was the sole connection on her friend's page. She waited for a message but received none. However, when she checked the page again 15 minutes later, it had vanished, indicating that she had likely been blocked by her friend.
This action confirmed Colleen's suspicion that her friend had created the new page solely to stalk her and had accidentally sent the friend request while browsing her profile. Now, Colleen was certain that her friend's motive was to check whether she and Tymothy were still together, especially since the friend request was sent just 36 hours before their first wedding anniversary.

Reflecting on past conversations, Colleen remembered how her friend had expressed doubt about their relationship, even going as far as to claim that they wouldn't last until their wedding, let alone their first anniversary.
Colleen concluded that the friend request had not been spam but just her friend being nosy and of course, she left disappointed knowing that she and Tymothy were still together.
Here's a story about a bridesmaid who stole attention from the bride at a wedding. Find out what happened to the bridesmaid at her own wedding a year later.
Bridesmaid Steals Attention from Bride at Wedding — Bride Revenges a Year Later
Things were going smoothly for a lovely couple at their wedding when one of their bridesmaids decided to steal the spotlight. While the festivities were ongoing, the bridesmaid chose to announce her engagement, and everyone's attention turned to her.
The bride and groom had known each other since they were toddlers. Their families had always been close, and their wedding day was something everyone looked forward to.
According to the cousin of the groom, who shared this story on Reddit, after the ceremony finished and the wedding party was about to begin, one of the bridesmaids, Sarah, announced her engagement. Sarah and her equally-proud fiancé loved the attention and didn't mind being the center of it at the party.
The bride, Emma, didn't make a scene or say anything foul to Sarah. Instead, she smiled and acted happy for them. To everyone around, this was very unusual of Emma, as she's known to be confrontational and often speaks her mind regardless of the consequences. She kept her composure while on the brink of tears and continued with the party.
Shortly after, Sarah asked Emma to be her Maid of Honor. It was a surprising move, especially after her bold decision to announce her engagement at Emma's wedding.
Emma said yes—she wouldn't miss it for the world! She went straight to planning the wedding and looked forward to the special day. Her two younger sisters were flower girls at the wedding. She also knew all the bridesmaids, who helped her plan Sarah's day.
On the day of the wedding, Emma switched out the white petals in the flower girl baskets to blue ones. She told her sisters not to mention it to anyone or let the bride see it before it was time to walk down the aisle.
Upon seeing blue petals in the aisle, Sarah looked confused. It didn't fit her theme, but she didn't say anything about it then. Meanwhile, the other bridesmaids, who were also Emma's friends, knew of Emma's switching plans.
At the reception, Sarah asked why there were blue petals instead of white. Everyone remained tight-lipped, and she began scolding the wedding coordinators for it.
Things took a sharp turn when it was time for Emma's speech. She prepared a presentation that showed pre-approved photos of Sarah with her and their other friends so that she could facilitate some lighthearted jokes.
At the end of her speech, she turned to Sarah and told her she must have been puzzled to see blue petals instead of white like they had originally planned. Then Emma showed the last slide of her presentation: an ultrasound picture.
She revealed to everyone that she was five months pregnant and that they discovered she was having a baby boy. The entire room was filled with gasps and yells.
"Sarah had a fit," recalled the Redditor, but those who knew about Emma's scheme cheered so loudly that no one noticed Sarah's tantrum. Many members of her entourage were sick of her attitude too. She had been nasty to her bridesmaids before the event, driving them away. Even though some protested, she forced them to pay a hefty sum for their dresses.
Eventually, Emma and her husband were thrown out of the party, but they couldn't care less. Sarah's mom confronted Emma outside, but Emma said, "Gentle, gentle! I'm pregnant!"
They were all smiles as they headed home and felt avenged for what Sarah did to them at their wedding. There were no regrets, and while they're no longer friends, they're glad to finish that chapter of their lives.
